In the hills of Montana, I found this Cirsium plant, better known as Thistle. I was nervous about carrying it into the wilderness but, once a scene caught my eye, instinct took over. #nikonphotography #nikond7500 While I do respect smartphone photography as an art form, I feel that I’ve been spoiled by it, as an artist. It’s too easy to take amazing pictures now that computers are doing all of the work. #smartphonephotography The same can still be said for any digital format. This Nikon D7500 is my early birthday present. I’m so grateful to have such a unique piece of art - #nikon84 #nikond7500 #nikonphotography Two things that were missing from my photos, being primarily smartphone cameras, was the control over focus and the long range capabilities. With this camera, not only do have my long awaited manual focus control and a 300 mm telephoto lens for long distance subjects, it also has wireless capability, smartphone compatibility and interesting filters and presets. This is the most advance device I’ve ever owned and I look forward to sharing what I learn with it.
