ooh lets get into it!!

~ starting with (in my opinion) the worst possible take: she would be better with chishiya. even though he spends the entirety of s1 lying to and manipulating her and doesn’t actually care about her until like the very end of season 2. ~ she’s 'just as bad' as hatter because she 'goes along' with his lies and doesn’t tell anyone the truth about how he made up the thing about the cards sending people home. neither does anyone else on the executive team, but she'd get the worst of it on account of collecting the cards and making the teams (even though she had no real choice in the matter). ~ some people would be 'weird' about how close she is to her brother and how overprotective aguni is of her. of course they’re codependent, their childhood was awful and he literally raised her. ~ gets the age-old fandom treatment of being assigned the 'mother' role when if anyone is the 'mother', it’s aguni and he’s doing a piss poor job by always siding with and making excuses for his husband hatter. ~ gets called 'over-emotional' for her reactions to various traumatic things. ~ the chishiya fandom flips on her the second she 'goes off' at him in s2 for his actions in s1 before leaving him to face the jack of hearts game alone.

Yes yes yes thank you so much for asking about María my new beloved baby!!

First of all, it's funny how María fits on the main plot bc she gets on the Map by accident. Harper and Amerie hear a rumor about her and wrote it on the Map, but it's not actually true so yeah. She's very aware that she doesn't have interest at all in relationships or sex or anything like that, and she talks about this with Jojo. She actually could get out of detention but she stays bc Cash is there and she finds their dramas so funny to watch, she's basically living in a movie in her mind lmao.

She lives basically next to Nan, that's why she's close with Cash more than anyone else. They are the most wholesome besties and honestly I live for that. Mostly she tries to keep him out of trouble and threats his "friends" to leave him alone (Cash is like "she's just kidding ofc" all the time. She hates it, but she can understand why he does it).

Basically her scenes are either her hugging Cash or her telling everyone else that they're being shitty and/or idiots so yeah, that's her vibe lmao. (She's lowkey "I hate everyone but you" and we love her for that. Well, she doesn't hate them, she's actually friend with most but she's all "You're all idiots shut the fuck up. Not you Cash you're an angel and we love you very much"... which is basically me watching the show lmao)

I haven't figured out yet much backstory/other things but these are her main vibes for now!
