Hold on, did you just describe a scent with a color? I'm not someone with synesthesia, but I do the exact same thing.

Yeah!

I mean, I am a synesthete, though for me it’s most strongly numbers-colors and sometimes letters-colors. Occasionally there’s other stuff too that really jumps out to me, though - like how the chord F# is an icy color, coffee is deep violet, or that fruity smell I just mentioned was a pale misty blue.

But…the thing is, I think that sensory connections can be made outside of synesthesia as well. In fact - let me correct that. It DOES. Especially if you’re a very visually-oriented or sensory-oriented sort of person, making connections like that does happen from time to time.

But yeah, anyway! It’s awesome to hear that you get what I meant by that, haha.

What's your favorite thing to sketch with? Can I have a link to where they're sold if possible?

My favorite thing to sketch with is normal mechanical pencils. I’m not picky about lead width.

Although lately I’ve been liking colored pens a lot! The ones I’ve been using lately are mostly Zebra Z-Grip and Papermate InkJoy, although I wouldn’t worry too much about the brand types - these were literally the first and the cheapest colored pens that I could find, and I bought them in the office supplies section of a local convenience store.
