nilim replied to your post: I have to brave the airport at rush hour today...
*whispers* You could always start Rusty Quill Gaming~~
While I generally like to listen to things I’ve already heard before if I might be stressed, I do need a new podcast for my commute now that LeVar Burton is on hiatus. What’s RQG about? It’s a D&D stream, correct? What is the flavor?
nilim replied to your post “all of the posts referencing people getting mad at the cast for not...”
I haven't explored the tags yet, but I went blog hopping earlier and came across such genuinely biphobic and cast hating posts (note: these were reblogs which added criticism to the original post... but it still caused me to read the original posts), and I'm genuinely scared to go into the tag now.
i’ve seen one so far (also with criticism) and if that’s the tenor of the rest of said posts in the tag i’m definitely staying way clear of it for the next week.
nilim replied to your post: critical role artists who draw characters without...
Don’t get me wrong, I get the sentiment - but maybe try praising what you do like instead of insulting what you don’t like.
okay. artists who draw critical role characters with body hair? not cowards.
The talented @nilim tagged me. Thanks! :)
Relationship: Single and not looking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Colors: Blue and yellow works for me right now.
Favorite Ships: I don’t actually care that much about shipping. I mostly tolerate ships because I know they are a huge part of fandom culture and there are some ship art and opinions out there that are so valid. That said, from the ships that @nilim mentioned I think Nott/Yeza is interesting for two reasons: 1. I personally find already established romantic relationships the most tolerable ,and 2. It’s being taken in an interesting direction by exploring whether a romantic relationship would always be the one right for someone at different stages of their life, so it has the potential of going an affirmative you-will-always-be-the-one-for-me route or a bittersweet I-was-in-love-with-you-once-and-maybe-I’ll-always-be-but-this-isn’t-working-for-me-anymore route and I’m here for it.
Last song: Lola Blanc - Fly Away
Last movie: Avengers: Infinity War
Last book: I’m hoping to finish Les Miserables. I don’t read as much as I used to

nilim replied to your chat: Me: Ok I'm just gonna read all the Discworld books...
There’s still Discworld books I haven’t read. And I think it’s because I don’t want it to end.
This exactly. I’m already panicking there’s ‘only’ like 40 books left, reading as little as possible cause I don’t want it to end.
I used to read through my fav books like lightning but god knows it’s been ages since I found a book series I love this much and felt this attached to the characters and I’m just gonna postpone reading the last book until I’m 80 yes thank you.
nilim replied to your post: One of the really odd things about a post taking...
I’ve had many posts take off like that and you will get notes for years afterwards, it’s so FUN. (It’s not. It’s terrible. 95% of the notes I get per day are for random old posts I made, and there’s just… so many bad takes among them, I don’t read any of them).
I’ve only had two posts like this before and...yeah. It’s such a weird, wild beast of a thing, to have something inexplicably take off on here.
I think the thing that baffles me most is when people reply (not reblog, but reply) with some long tirade, and I just...don’t know if they realize that I’m probably the only person who will read it. Do they expect a response? Are they assuming no one will read it and just blowing off steam? Does anyone understand how this website works? (Probably not.)
