YELLOW PEARL/BLUE PEARL OTP!!!!!!!!!!!!! How 'bout an au where our Pearl convinced the other two to run with her and join the revolution?
Hey! I know this was a mistake but I’m going to answer anyway because this is one of my favorite subjects!
I actually have an AU roleplay where Pearl and Yellow Pearl were rebels together! I’ve been writing it with my bestie Sam (@aperfectpearl) for more than a year (they play Pearl) and it covers everything from Yellow accidentally being left on Earth during the war to the movie era.
(They weren’t able to bring Blue Pearl with them, but they did rescue her eventually and had a very happy reunion!)
I’d REALLY like to take the stuff we created together and craft it into fanfiction other people might enjoy reading, but I don’t really know if anyone would be interested. We’ve got tons of storylines, though … with a lot of Pearl romance, a dose of war drama, and Yellow learning to be her own Gem.
Right now the only way for others to participate is through our ask blog (@rebelpearls) – it’s quiet right now but we always love answering asks. Also, a lot of the shippy art we’ve commissioned is on there.

Good advice. But also, since you made it, do you have a basic plotline or not?
I’m like no joke so flattered. Nah man you don’t gotta follow any basic plotline I got, the whole point of this edit was to spark and interest and and let people think what they want of it. All my edits give creative freedom to anyone who gets inspired by it.
Though it is fun to think about what I would do with this serious so here are my ideas. Who knows I might try and write screenplays and try a specscript pilot for this “show” someday so here are my basic plot points which are more like anime story arc bullet points.
The intro first season which explains the Shield as a group. Possible multiple flashback episodes that each go through the three’s life before they joined the group and how it changed them (though flashback eps might be moved to season 2 to reward audience while also not taking away from the main story point.
Season 2 or 3 will cover Seth’s betrayal from the group and turning to a bad syndicate known as the Authority and Seth, Roman, and Dean’s separate struggles with the repercussions.
After Seth breaks from the Authority syndicate, he becomes like a super arsonist and aims to burn down all the Authorities known hq’s
Dean becomes a Punisher type of vigilante, fighting with his inner demons and being betrayed after finally trusting again after his known bad past which brings out his old inner demon when he was a young terror known as Mox and while Roman is also struggling, he has to be the moral one and try to still be a rock for both Dean and himself while still trying to do good.
There is def a Dark Dean arc where he wears the gas mask and goes after Seth after years of everyone thinking he’s forgiven him but in reality he’s been biding his time (and possible Mox in the back of his head has been egging him on) and wanting to “return the favor” and his vigilante ways have gone to an extreme and showing his true “potential” since no one ever put any thought of his real potential since he was in a ay held back by Seth and Roman. And throws the world into a bit of chaos so he can bring his new “balance” to it.
Idk. I’ll probably think of more later...
