Say it with me now: Not every bard has to be a singer or play an instrument. You can do ANYTHING, and I want to see a bard who is simply a queen at the cat walk, a fast talking woman who can strut her way right past some guards, and pose with such allure that their level of stunning damages me. I love it~. You maybe a high elf from some high society snob who let’s be honest can burn corneas with your sparkling personality, but you know where you come from, and despite your high position you are a kind hearted adventurer dammit who’s gonna bring style and confidence to those who need it.

You get it, people love how you can change your body to do exactly what someone wants or needs, but what about you? It’s hard to shift looks so often, and always be happy to conform, but hey you suppose it’s better than being hated as most changelings are due to being seen as ‘untrustworthy’. At least you keep telling yourself that trying to justify it. Some days it all becomes too much though, and you sneak away to the local church that runs an orphanage and it is where you grew up. You know all the best hides, and the quietness is nice since no performances are needed here. One day the goddess comes to you offering you power to go explore the world, and asks you to be yourself or find yourself having watched you grow in their church walls for years realizing that the fame while nice doesn’t let you be you. Taking their name you grow to control the storms of this world, quelling the lighting other’s create.
