anyway, I didn’t log back in to say that I’m coming back because frankly: my rl position has changed drastically and at this point I think it’s safe to say that I’ve had my time in the pokemon community along with my Pokémon muses.

I do love them, but my attention has been elsewhere and I cannot commit to my muses as much as I used to.

Therefore, If there are any people with the same muses as mine that would like to use some of the information on this blog for your own use: feel free!

I was never a stickler for being picky about this but in case anyone needs permission, take this as a go ahead.

The only thing that won’t change is how I’ve written my muses and how I headcanon them. It brings me much joy to reminisce on them, and they’ll forever have a soft spot in my tiny little lizard brain.

but, my real life situation calls, and I cannot ignore it. If there’s anything that is needed from me, feel free to DM me- I won’t be taking discords because I’m too overwhelmed with everything else.

The battle was filled with colliding steel and rock on both sides- but in the end, it was inevitable for Steven’s Aggron to resist the slumber from the Jynx’s lovely kiss. How embarrassing, it didn’t even get to lift a claw- and yet, it was unavoidable.

He held onto the luxury ball for a moment. Then, his attention on Brendan.

“Your pokemon spoke for you with their strength, and that is the result of those bonds they held dear with you. No one can take that away, regardless if they win or lose. Now, it looks like I need to learn a thing or two about that certain situation.”

Lovely kiss, of all things. Not even Glacia had that kind of pokemon on her team but even the thought of it now was something to consider.

“You still make me proud, Brendan, as always. I hope you feel it from your pokemon as well.”

Ah, yes. That familiar sting. The unwillingness to show that something was bothering the trainer- but, the fact is that it’s painfully seen upon the mere expression of how the other came off. Steven was quite good at it, picking out how a simple gesture meant something unconsciously to another person.

He wondered to himself, a hand on his hip as his mind silently churned.

“It’s not the loss that is sticking hard on you, Brendan. It’s HOW you lost that is. Any loss, whether it would be battle or not, only means that it gives you something to use to your advantage later on. I assume your father would have mentioned a few of his own misdoings during his own presentation as a league member, and myself too as a trainer, but those will always be stepping stones. Yes, even the many times I had frustratingly battled and lost from miscalculations are still recalled by me and my judgement. Something that was painful- but yet, I pridefully bear with my own pokemon as well.”

Many battles alongside Beldum had taught him that.

“Growth is something you experience whether you feel like you are achieving it or not. It comes in many forms, of course, but you never truthfully see it until you take a step back and look at those around you. Whether good or bad battles, or experiences, you will still come out stronger than you have been. That’s just how we, as people, evolve in our own way.”

He notes the suggestion to battle, which he had nodded for a moment.

“I’ll see what I can do- it HAS been a while since I have surfaced back into battling. My focus had been shifted elsewhere, so I had no choice but to put it on the backburner until I arrived back. Even then... i’m sure my pokemon and I will still shine, despite how rusty our commands are to each other.”

GRIMY FINGERS TIME WITH THE TWINS!!!!

Cue him getting knocked on his ass on the floor because the twins are rowdy, but at least he can tolerate their undeniably sticky and dirty fingers. “No one had washed your hands yet after dinner, had they? Well, it seems to be that time. Come on, Liza! Tate! Let’s get those hands nice and clean.”

Someone had seemingly hogged the bed while Steven had went off and do Steven things, but that didn’t mean the prehistoric bird would be left unattended. It looks up at the familiar human, fluffs up its feathers, and lowers its neck back into its body as it received a nice loving ‘pet pet’ on the head.

Its claw reaches forward and suddenly the archeops is snuggling her. Yup, his lap now.

Of course, that’s when its trainer would come back from doing Steven things.

No further updates other than reminding everyone that this blog (and my other Pokémon blogs) are still on hiatus! I'm planning on coming back next year when irl isnt hell (in more ways than one) but I wanted to touch bases with you all that I intend on moving back here around january!

Also I'm going to go ahead and give a heads up: I will be unfollowing and refollowing a good portion of you guys so that way I can have a comfortable number of people to write with so I dont overwhelm Myself again (like last time) but some key factors in me following your blogs are the following:

- If you, the mun, are NOT a minor, I will follow you. If you, the Mun, ARE a minor, I will not follow you. For safe reasons I'd rather be it this way for my own comfort level

- if you have written with me before, I'll definitely follow you back!

- If you are a duplicate of my muses and we have talked before, I will follow back!

- I won't be following back if I don't see our muses interacting an awful lot.

I'll most likely do this whole unfollowing spree in December, but I just wanted to give a heads up that this is what I'm intending on doing For my own sense of security and comfort.

I have went through and cleared the first portion of everyone on my followers list! My next step is go to through everyone’s blogs ( all 200+ of them... oof LOL) and make sure that I am not following any minors!

If for some reason you noticed that I have softblocked you, it’s most likely because of:

1. I didn’t see a proper age on your blog so for my safety I soft blocked, but feel free to refollow if you are not a minor! Also if you ARE a minor, I will not follow back and therefore will utilize soft blocks to keep my mental state from worrying about treading over touchy topics that you shouldn’t otherwise see!

2. Inactivity - Any blog that was inactive for 2+ months I soft blocked to safe time and space on my followers list!

3. If I thought I saw your blog was a throwaway blog / personal blog! If you have a multi muse or side blogs and feel as if I soft blocked you out of mistake, feel free to let me know!

I also soft blocked a l o t of galarian blogs because I honestly don’t remember who gets along with who anymore -pensive emoji- I do want to at some point reach out to galarian muses again, I just need time next year to situate myself and begin working on delving more into galarian fun threads and all! I just, want to better my environment and not have to worry about stepping on anyones toes so this is the most fair way for me to go about it.

Again, you are free to Im or send me an ask about all of this! I feel bad as much as you guys do, but again i’m doing this for the safety of my mental health and simplicity so that way I can actually focus back here when I do come back!
