‘ Let me go put a kettle on for some tea. ’

‘ It looks to be coming down harder now. ’

‘ I don’t think you can go now with the rain. ’

‘ Do you mind if I stay until the rain passes? ’

‘ I just love the sound of rain and rolling thunder don’t you? ’

‘ The sound of softly falling rain is so relaxing. ’

‘ Here, I thought some hot coffee would go with the rain. ’

‘ Come snuggle up and listen to the rain with me. ’

‘ Hurry up! We’re going to get drenched if we stay out here! ’

‘ Come on, come stand in the rain with me. ’

‘ Did you hear the thunder in the distance? The rain is going to start coming down harder soon. ’

“Of course!” Shaymin opens the box, revealing a variety of chocolate covered strawberries to pick from. White chocolate, milk, dark… even a mixture between some too! “You can take whichever you like. There’s plenty, so don’t worry about taking more than one!”

   { イーブイ } “Wow... There’s so many! You must have had a lot of time to make these!” Eevee’s eyes sparkle as she sees all the options laid out before her. A tiny hand reaches out towards the box, and she takes one of the milk chocolate covered strawberries, popping it into her mouth.

“Wow, this is really, really yummy!” She says, her mouth still full of chocolate and fruit.

“Happy early Valentine’s Day! I made a bunch of chocolate covered strawberries if you’d like one!”

   { イーブイ } “Oooooh! Can I have one, please?!”

    { イーブイ } “I’m 5 years old!”

     { イーブイ } “Ah, you’re from the Sinnoh region? I must say, I’ve always been fond of it. I much prefer the cold climate found there to any other region.” The girl had a small smile on her face as she spoke. “Pray tell, where in Sinnoh are you from? If I ever visit there again, I’d love to know.”

“It’s nice to meet you as well Blake, you’ve been a.. you’ve been a breath of fresh air I’ll be honest.” Elesa acknowledged, because really this was not a normal encounter for her. 

“So are you a trainer yourself Blake?” she inquired, always curious about potential challengers and how trainers journeys were going. 

      { イーブイ } “Nah, I was never into that whole Pokemon training thing... None of my family is.” Granted, there was a pretty good reason for that. “But I’ve seen battles from afar. They’re pretty fun to watch from time to time...” She gave a nonchalant shrug.

“So, why am I a ‘breath of fresh air’ for you? Is there something special about you I’m just not realizing or something?”

Elesa kind of shrugs at the question. “I guess because I like it. It’s what is on trend right now. And with the winter being so dull I figured I’d make it a little more bright.” she answers honestly, she really hadn’t put much thought into it other than it would look good being photographed by paparazzi. 

“Hm, well I can understand if you don’t like attention. But I myself am pretty used to it.” she says, though she has an inkling that the other girl didn’t know who she was. Which was fine, it was refreshing having someone completely question everything about her fashion choices and colour options. “I’m Elesa Sato. May I inquire whom you are?” 

       { イーブイ } “It’s trending, huh?” That explains why Umbreon didn’t know about it. She didn’t really keep up with trends. Or celebrities, which was also why she didn’t know who this woman was. She was surprised she had never seen the woman before now, however. It would be kinda hard to miss her with such a gaudy get up...

“...Blake.” She says simply. She couldn’t very well say “Umbreon” as her name, after all. “Nice to meet you.”

Elesa chuckled at the others comment about her appearance. She was sued to comments so it never really bothered her. “and here I was trying to go for a more natural look today.” she spoke, though she was more joking than anything and her tone remained lighthearted, “I like bright things. I like to make a scene with my clothing. Though I am sorry if it hurts your eyes,” she says as she takes in the others much darker attire. 

        { イーブイ } “...s’fine, I’m just not used to looking at bright stuff.” Umbreon explained, looking away so that her eyes wouldn’t hurt anymore. “Why are you wearing that stuff, anyway? I can’t imagine wearing something like that... It’d draw too much attention.”
