I have been very very good and occasionally awful. From this I have learned that every part of me is living: the fear, the hunger, the joy and hope. All are alive, teeming in the swells and corners of my body. They ebb and flow, a school of fishing twisting in shimmering pulses throughout my body. They come up the throat and flip around between my lips and teeth- finally swimming around the room as the cracking whip of wit. And words often die upon entering the surface- only memory of feeling lives on. Sometimes as a ghost, sometimes as a blessing. But I (neurotic) stare at the tip of my nose when I speak, trying to see the words flying out. Despite my expert eye I am never quite sure how they will land
