🌽: How does this OC feel about acts of affection? What's their favourite act of affection, physical or emotional?
Oya isn't fond of touching or being touched, except with the right people. Touching is reserved to the people they trust 100%, which is to say... not many. She does like having her hair petted, but that doesn't happen very often!
When it comes to affection (whether on the giving or receiving end) they tend to favor small intentions and thoughtful gestures, like making a cup of tea, saving the best part of the food they're having, lending a jacket whenever it's too cold...
🎂: Does your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first perception people have of them? How do they surprise people?
Oya has an amazing resting bitch face, which tends to give her that reputation of being serious, cold and angry. Now, there's some truth to that, but there's also the truth of them loving to make stupid bets and suggestions (like 'drink whatever's in this shady looking bottle for two crowns' kind of thing).
They're also a pretty good cook and they can sew (not just fabrics).
🍪: What is something that's sentimental to your OC?
Everything they wear (pendants, necklaces, rings, bracelets...), every piercing and tattoo. They're a big softie who hides it by presenting as a magpie who collect shiny trinkets. Also, they like remembering things.

Nin likes any kind of affection! His favorite kind is being offered sweet treats getting hugs and soft, reassuring touches (he will ask before giving you a hug though).
Being the fire mage that he is, he will never let your hot drink get cold and will discreetly warm up your blankets and clothes during cold weather.
🎂: Does your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first perception people have of them? How do they surprise people?
Nin is not very tall and sometimes looks like he daydreams a lot. He's kind and smiles a lot, always tries to see the bright side in things. He is also unapologetically a dalish elf.
People assume he must spend all his time singing songs and picking flowers and that anyone could take him in a fight. Well, anyone probably could take him in a physical fight... if they can touch him first.
His father Aelen taught his children to shoot a bow, and even if he doesn't practice often, Nin likes archery a lot.
🍪: What is something that's sentimental to your OC?
He often wears an orange shawl his mother made, and in his pack he always carries a sharp silverite knife from his father and a little ironbark cat, hand carved by his sister.
