@ninabina38 replied to your post “if anyone lives in nyc I’m accepting recs...”
If you like museums for their beauty, Met Cloisters. The building itself is based off medical architecture, it’s high up in the middle of a very green park (the park/forest is beautiful too), it overlooks the Hudson River. If you purchase a ticket for the Cloisters, that same ticket is good for two days and let’s you into the main Met building on 5th (and you can live out your gossip girl dream if you want).
If you’re of age, Drunk Shakespeare is so much fun to see. You can buy the tickets on their website but Groupon also usually has them discounted. Todaytix has them on saley. Drinks are provided btw.
Oh if you’re a student from nj,ny, or Connecticut the met is pretty much free or pay what you want.
ooh thank you for these recs! the met cloisters and the area around it sounds like a nice break from like. sidewalk. i will put it on my list ✅
I am of alcohol-drinking age but I like ancient greek plays more! I’m gonna look around to see if that’s a thing in nyc too lmao
