Out of all the classes I’ve had at Fullsail, this class along with Digital Marketing, has been the most beneficial to my career. In the
First week of June (2020) I applied for my EIN number. This was the week that I found out that I am nominated for “radio host of the year”, “Best show of the year” and “Voice of the year” by The Spin Awards! (www.thespinawards.com). I am so thrilled and honored.
June 10, 2020 Applied for LLC (took about a week).
June 15, 2020 Hired website builder, first official website is active.
June 20, 2020 Started on 2nd website and e-commerce.
June 23, 2020 applied for Publishing with BMI, (could take up to 4 months).
Next week, I will apply for membership with SAGMA, this is the organization that governs the highest honors in Gospel music. (thestellarawards.com).
Next month, I have a meeting at or with SBA, they will do it via Zoom meeting. I’m looking for guidance and help with my business plan. We need that by the end of September. Personally though, I’m glad this roller coaster of a ride (master’s degree program) is almost over. It’s been a lot to work 2 jobs, go to school, produce 5 shows weekly, produce commercials and a news segment. It has truly been a lot. I’m living proof that you can do anything if you set your mind to it and keep going, no matter what.
