- kyle was adopted by an american family when she was two, leading to her moving from albania leading her to move to sterling. her moms are incredibly loving and her family is lit and she’s spoiled af but like she’s still a cool bean.
- growing up she was always that girl climbing trees, she never seemed to be inside and adored everything about the outdoors. whether it was bird watching or digging for bugs in the garden she was down for it.
- now she’s more reserved, but is still a very bubbly child at heart and loves the outdoors still no matter the season. however now, she’s all for school, education is incredibly important to her. she’s apart of the school paper and puts hours into it but she’s also very invested in music too.
- she adores to be happy to people, her worst nightmare is honestly people hating her. she just tries to make most people happy. even samuel, anytime she saw him whether it was late at night and they were both in the front yard or in the earliest of hours in the morning there’d always be some sort of communication. she considered him a friend. to this day she has no clue why he almost shot her, a part of the reason her ptsd is so bad is due to the lack of closure.
- personality wise she’s sarcastic, witty and loving as fuckk!!! but she’s v real and will be harsh if she has to but she has sm luvv to give y’all you don’t even know!!!
hey, everyone! just as a brief introduction, my name is rika and i’m currently a frosh working towards a degree! i haven’t been rping too much lately (i took off for a year to focus more on sat, act, college applications, fafsa, !!!) but i’m really glad to be rping with you guys soon. pronouns are they/them and if you want to contact me, please do so via tumblr because i’m really shy when it comes to other medium.
so ava!!! if you need more additional info, links to her and the tags are right here (i also included everyone on there so far so if you’re wondering where your reply is, check there [no longer applicable for tags for replies, click here instead.) but basically there’’s the run down. she’s the only child of korean american immigrants who moved when she was 12 to sterling and doesn’t really like talking to a lot of people unless it’s work related. ava chose to remove herself from a lot of activities that requires socializing and is often seen either at the library or talking to teachers about academics. because of this, she doesn’t really have any friends (unless you count the old lady down her street her friend, then i guess that’s one?) even though she’s aiming to be a doctor, she doesn’t like to admit the fact that she likes photography better than biology.
ava knew samuel through the photography club. she could tell that he was kinda lonely and wanted to reach out to him but didn’t because she figured that if she learned how to deal with her loneliness (ie ignoring it by busying herself), he could do. during the shooting, she did saw him and so did he but she didn’t see him pointing a gun at her (or at least maybe didn’t noticed it) and she’s kinda confused as to why wasn’t she shot at if he saw her. she’s also regretting not reaching out to him and at least talk to him about the problems he might have had even if she was probably a terrible person.
at this point, she’s figuring out what happened that day and what it means for her. at the very least, she’s doing a very poor job at recovering from it by refusing to see a therapist or talking to anyone about the incident and goes on publicly as if it never happened. but in her mind, she’s constantly figuring out what is going on.

BULLET POINT BIO AKA THE RUNDOWN
to adults: golden football hero, church going, rule complying, baby kissing boy. to students/kids: fake ass, peer pressuring ass, rude ass, football playing, red headed lookin’ ass.
golden boy cuz i kinda imagine him as the small town football star that everyone loves because you know how much these lil towns love high school football ( i mean i should know ). he cares about his image very much because his dad is the town drunk and deadbeat, so he works hard to be the cool kid @ school.
he was ONE of samuel’s bully, i don’t wanna say he was the ONLY bully but people follow what noel does and when sam started getting picked on and his jock friends were like: what’re you gonna do about it huh and noel you know — typical jock — started picking on sam for funsies. he didn’t necessarily ENJOY doing it, but nobody was getting on his case about NOT doing it.
during the incident, noel got shot by samuel — nothing major, since he’s alive and well, but his arm is currently in a sling cuz his shoulder was hit.
is guilty!boy because he knows he’s one to blame for the shit show.
he WANTS to be a good guy because he grew up without kind parents, but he also cares too much about his REPUTATION so he kinda just becomes a bad guy that way basically.

KINDHEARTED, AMBITIOUS
kindhearted because like stated above, grew up without kind parents and originally wanted to just be a nice guy to everyone, but as he grew up in high school and made friends on the football team, the pressure to be a DICK was outstanding to be cool so that kinda happened. ambitious because he doesn’t just wanna be the kid of the town drunk and he’s constantly striving for better.
COMPLIANT, OBLIVIOUS
compliant because he will EASILY give into peer pressure in order to keep his reputation and will rly do anything. oblivious because he’s rly dumb and never saw the damage because he was like: i’m just teasing right. what a dummy.
TL;DR : he’s THAT guy that you either love or hate that’s it.

miles is homoromantic and pansexual
miles is known as the “alpha artist” because he dabbles in all fields of art in town, around town, in school, at home, etc. he’s super into photography (hence him being in the photography club with samuel). but he’s also a painter, actor, likes to sketch and teaches himself instruments at random.
miles is super corky and loveable. he rambles, is passionate about art and tries very hard to see the best in people. some say his best qualities are his downfall and lead him to miss a safer, more logical point of view.
miles has been struggling with major depression since the age of fourteen, which causes large mood swings and states of hopelessness. he attempts to mask these symptoms socially and throws all the darkness into his private art, but with a triggering incident like “the samuel thing” it has been harder for him to pretend he’s not going through it.
because of his depression, his ambitions revolve around wanting to make people happy with both his art and his personality.
