Sementes do Vale (one of our partners alongside the 7th Presbyterian Church of Montes Clares) has been steadily promoting greater independence among local families by encouraging them to grow their own vegetables and boosting their confidence to sell their produce and earn an income. We are thankful to God and to our partners for all the blessings poured out over this community. "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." Emmanuel Brazil continues to support the partnership between the 7th Church of Montes Claros and the Sementes do Vale Project, which works with children and teenagers in the north of Minas. Healthy snacks are an important part of supporting those who attend in the different courses.

Emmanuel International Brazil, in partnership with the 7th Church of Montes Claros, has supported the Sementes do Vale Project, which works in small communities in the north of Minas Gerais, reaching children and teenagers with activities in various areas, such as Music, Sports, Computing. Providing a healthy diet for the children who participate in these activities is one of our goals.

The Valley of Seeds

Deep in the heart of Ninheira is a thriving Community Centre: Sementes do Vale, the Valley of Seeds. Established to assist a struggling community, MEB, through its partner church Montes Claros 7th Presbytarian Church, has been contributing to the outreach of this community center for over 6 years. A varied weekly schedule offers computer training, literacy, art classes, robotics classes, music training, guitar lessons, crochet classes, indoor sports such as football and a library. Smiles and a love for Jesus are happily shared with others!
