“Is that so?”  Your eyes flicker with amusement.  Your small companion has been nothing if not full of surprises.  You daresay you even enjoy his company– which should be obvious, but you’ve never been particularly in-touch with your emotional cues.  

Regardless, you laugh lightly before smoothing out your coat.  “Well, I won’t say it’s a terrible idea.  Let’s see it then, Nini.”

Random starters: Fainting/unconscious edition

Sunlight is a slap in the face you do not take kindly to.  Your eyes struggle to focus as you sit up, taking it slowly despite your alarm at the sound of another’s voice.  You had meant only to rest for a moment, not fall asleep entirely.  The heat is unbearable-- just how long had you been out?  Finally, you register just what it is you’re looking at: a lalafell, standing before you seeming anything but concerned for the state you’re in.

“Am I correct to assume you find this to be unfortunate?”  You very pointedly reach for your bag, only breaking eye contact for the briefest of seconds to sneak a glance inside.
