•Boney The Runner – Who doesn't love to eat turkey during Thanksgiving? I'll tell you who: those pesky dogs! They prefer to spend all Thanksgiving chasing our poor scared friend, but you have to admit, they look cool with those turkey hats! •My Monster Rancher – With the changing of seasons, players can train their monsters to collect colorful autumn leaves and lottery tickets for a limited time. Ninja Royale: Clan Jutsu!

Great news Ninjas, a new feature was added at the end of last month: Clan Jutsu!

The clan system has been overhauled, with a ninja art―"jutsu"―added for every clan. Jutsu can be upgraded and equipped just like gear items. Equipping jutsu boosts the player's gear stats. Game Review - Ninja Royale

Today we’ll be reviewing a game which was featured on Applorer at the end of last year… 

*** NINJA ROYALE! ***

No doubt many of you guys have heard about this game, but for those who haven’t tried it, there’s no better time than NOW to download it and catch up with everyone else!!! 

We’ll tell you why.

Gameplay –

Start the game as a ninja from one of three clans: tiger, shark, or crow. Each of the three clans belongs to a certain element, which means you can sometimes only equip gear specific to your clan. But it really doesn’t matter which clan you choose right now because there’s no difference in term of strength or abilities. 

The game has very simple controls that consist of tapping or slashing your screen to defeat enemies. You use up energy by completing missions to earn experience points, and there are minigames and boss fights in between to break the monotony. 

Thanks to Mobage, you can also engage in battles against other users to win treasure and complete collections to earn rewards. Make friends and spar against one another to earn more experience points, or schmooze with one another to earn karma points, which will top up your energy when you run out.

As you move throughout the game, there are events that happen from time to time that allow you to change clans and get new limited edition gear! 

Review –

I actually downloaded this just a month ago (yes, I’m really slow, I know) but I have to say that this is VERY addictive! I don’t even mind looking like an idiot tapping and slashing away furiously on my Galaxy S2 on the train home from work. (Beating the boss and completing the minigames with an A+ are much more important.)

Player vs. player competition is really intense and the lure of limited edition gear and changing clans keeps drawing me back to play once my energy bar has refilled. The cute graphics, ESPECIALLY the design of the ninjas’ clan costumes, and appropriate background music and sound effects are a HUGE bonus. This is definitely an app that I’m going to keep on my phone for a LOOOOOOONG time!
