what's your opinion on ninja squid? a lot of people have mixed feelings on it, i like it even though there's a slow-down in swim speed. hard to get a pure/semi-pure to make up for it though...
Oh, I absolutely LOVE Ninja Squid. I literally cannot live without it!! Every single piece of clothing I wear in game has Ninja Squid on it, it’s just a very handy and important ability for me and my play style!!
At this point, I can’t imagine not having it on at all times, that lack of stealth makes me uncomfortable. I’m a Bamboozler main, a Charger on the front lines, I like to be able to sneak!! Since I’m so used to having Ninja Squid on, I don’t really notice or mind the way it cuts down speed- the benefit of stealth is so strong for me that it taking my Swim Speed down just seems more than fair! Balance is key- you can’t have an ability like Ninja Squid exist with nothing but benefits to its name, you know?
Ninja Squid
Okay, can someone help me out here. Does Ninja Squid in general make you slower when you swim in ink? I’m trying to figure this out with the latest update and how it got nerfed. I get what the nerf does but I want to understand if Ninja Squid in general nerfs your speed.
Been really busy with school projects & even working part-time. Hopefully I will learn & try NOT to do 16 credit hours per semester. In the mean time, here's a ninja squid from the chip bag project I'm still working on.

Its been awhile since I last drew Etika, decided to update her look to fit more with the splatoon 2 hair styles. Unfortunately her school jersey didn’t make the cut, so I had to substitute in the prune parashooter so she still has ninja squid, but honestly I like it just as much as the old one.
Also the little guy on her head is her pet Zapfish Eel. He loves to come along and watch turf matches when he’s not helping her mother.
Gotta love how ninja squid hides most of your movement, but you can still see the indent of someone moving in the ink. I’d like to apologize to the person trying to sneak behind me that I splatted, I should have pretended not to see the ink move
