The Wood Brothers - The Muse
Perfect. Just perfect.
I suppose I am little behind the hype train on this track, but it's new to me, and maybe it will be new to you too. The track is "Giving It All (French Kiwi Juice Remix)", and it is the perfect song for warmer weather (hopefully you are getting some). The track is an undeniably dancey one, featuring pitch bent synths that refuse to sit still. The song is worth a listen, even if it's just for the production.
Reality Testing is a track from producer Lone's new album "Reality Testing", due out June 16. The beats are full on hip-hop, but the synths sound more like something you would find in a house track.
Hundred Waters drips with emotion. Delicately complex, "Down From the Rafters" invites you to savor the moment. One of my favorite things about this track is the uniqueness of the vocal phrasing. Give it a spin!
Ever wonder what Wilco's guitar wizard was up to in the 90's? You probably had not guessed that he was melting faces with a country punk outfit. The sound quality is terrible, for which I apologize. There isn't very much material floating around from the Geraldine Fibbers, and a lot of what is floating around doesn't feature Nels. Enjoy the novelty and move along.
