I am in my wannabe director’s cut DVD commentary era at the moment so get ready to have answers to questions you’ve never had :)

The person finally got back to me about the copied story. It’s a bit of a tricky situation. Not an exact copy by any means but the same faceclaim, and several sentences are VERY familiar to me, at least in what I’ve read in the first chapter so far.

Very disheartened, but I don’t think there’s anything I can do about it.

The last one at least just had a very similar premise which could have been coincidental but that was where similarity stopped; this one seems to have very similar world building choices, wording, and sentences. Again could be a coincidence but yeah.

In case anyone was wondering, this is the dress I pictured Octavia wearing in the latest chapter of OLCBL and used to work my description from, except maybe in my head the material is more floppy/soft and less structured?

And the hair is what I imagine it would look like down, before Gloriana takes the two pigtails and fixes them into a crown (think Princess Leia on Hoth but it’s bubbles instead of braids and most of the hair is still down).

Hey friends, this is a shot in the dark, but I’m so desperate I don’t care anymore. I’ve had chronic nausea for a few years now (24/7) and I can’t get rid of it. I’ve tried so many things, been poked and prodded, had surgeries, and I can neither find the cause nor something to help treat it. If anyone has any advice or even suggestions of things to look into I would be forever grateful. Right now my doctor and I are basically just throwing things at the wall, so anything is appreciated.

Did I just hand in my last formal essay of undergrad? (Possibly ever because I’m going into a Creative Writing Masters?) Maybe. Did I cry? Also maybe.

After a lot of consideration, I think I’m going to move my blog over to another account so it can be my main. With the absolutely amazing expansion my page has had over the last little bit in terms of followers, I think I need to make the switch so I can follow/reply from the ninjasawakenedmystars account as opposed to the ninjas-main account. I think it’s confused a few people when I let them know that I follow them, but that it’s from my main account. 

This was only ever meant to be a “for funsies” side account but it’s really started to grow and I’ve found myself ingratiated in a great community (shout out to the OC community and my mutuals there!). Because I’ve enjoyed it so much, I wanted to improve how I’m able to interact with the community and therefore create a new account where this can be my main. 

I won’t be making the switch just yet, it’ll be a slow and gradual transition where I’ll create the new account, start to reblog stuff from here, and then eventually make the switch over there while reblogging stuff including reminders to switch over to my new page.
