I’m currently 3rd place in The Speedventure of Link ninji speedrun in Mario Maker 2, and I’m pretty proud of it.

I’m having trouble with the second room, all the other top-10ers or so have a better optimized go at that room than me and they always catch up and pass me there.

Yeah, that’s right, I said “catch up”. I have a strat with bombs that gives me like a 0.15 second lead in the first room that nobody else has figured out (none of their ninjis do it, but my own ninji always does it). Feels really good to have one up on everybody else doing this.

I think there’s some trick to the second room involving very precisely height-ed jumps? They always seem to get past the hammer-bro faster, no idea what it is. 1st place’s ninji always gets into the last room first. :(

2nd place just gets past me because the last room is hard to do perfect. :)- No special strats are involved.
