A and B have just completed their quest, with A literally carrying B at the end there. B kinda already knew it wasn't something they were going to make it back from, but A still had hope for a return journey up until the end. Here, faced with that end that they can't return from, all B can feel is relief that it's over, and while A feels that too, he's also mourning the life he's given up for this. B then says this, a show of gratitude for everything A has done for him and that despite everything else that's happened he isn't alone in this.

went to my local mall today to do christmas shopping and such and man was it dead, taken over by cheap fast fashion and poorly made anime merch stores (not dissing anime there’s just like 5 of these stores at my local mall). listen malls have always been a shitty capitalist hellhole but people seem to overlook its importance in community’s since their creation in the 50s/60s.. malls were used to used for concerts, clubs, and community gatherings, but now as malls have been dying, being replaced by the world of online shopping, this community space has died with it. ill cut myself off their but i have a lot of thoughts on malls. fascinating stuff.
