F...o...ga...ntos...? Jangs?? Jangs could be Jughead/Fangs too,, though, but Joangs is very hard to pronounce, and Fangquin sounds like a type of furniture...

I was going to throw out “Fangin”, but I think that’s one of the alternate Kevin/Fangs shipnames though that ship is legit sunk so maybe the name can go to a better home

6. What themes do you most enjoy writing?

I most enjoy writing about vulnerability, and longing, and the bittersweet feeling of getting something you want but knowing it can’t or won’t last. (A lot of what I’ve been writing lately is actually much happier than that! But it’s kind of been my sweet spot ever since I wrote Hunger Games fic.) 

7. What themes do you have the most difficulty writing?

hmm, maybe…family? whether it’s parent-child relationships, or sibling relationships, etc. - it doesn’t particularly interest me, and I’m not particularly close with my family IRL, so it’s also not something that comes naturally if I try to write it.

Aw that’s kind of great! I’m glad that he is getting appreciation from people, even in the form of character/reader fic. As for shipping him with Fangs (sorry I seem to have recently lost the ability to reply to multiple replies in one post), I don’t.... have a great grasp on which one Fangs is, though perhaps that will change when I fully catch up. But yes let’s not limit Sweet Pea, he would be so great paired with Jughead, Toni, or (sorry for being me and gravitating to hatesex like clockwork) Archie. Have he and Kevin interacted at all? Well maybe they met while Kevin was dating Joaquin, I’m down with Sweet Pea/Kevin too.

at least!!! really there are a lot of places this could occur - the trailer! some part of the Whyte Wyrm! (basement? creepy!) a bathroom in SSH! a graffitied wall! a car!

really any of these locations would be super as long as they are both very angry about it.

right??? honestly he’s so wounded and upset and he’s channelling it into like - writing an account of their collective trauma from this summer and then like. kind of following his ex-best friend about because he’s worried about him.

and it’s like archie has forgotten he exists! like. jughead is wounded & alone, still hung up on their big break up because it WAS A BIG DEAL. while archie has had like four Extreme Dramas since then and has essentially forgotten about it. the moment when archie is just like, i lost my best friend today! and jughead can’t deal with it and is like. if you mean betty, then…

they’re still not friends at this point. like, archie didn’t bother trying to fix it earlier on and now it’s just this weird mess. he just didn’t talk to him! so then there’s jughead about to get beaten up, and he’s just looking at archie like. did you ever even give a shit? you could stop this. are you going to?

honestly and then his complete surprise when archie stops the guy from beating him up. ohhh dear.

I can’t believe they kept Kevin in the wings for so long just to destroy his entire characterization. I assume he goes pro private prison because [x] death brings him closer to [y], but you’d think the show would remember that he’s, you know, a nice human being.
