Ooh, I love these portraits of the trolls! I think I’ve seen them around individually, but not all together. I think Nepeta and Feferi’s are my favorite. So cute!!
Whoa, that graphic series of the kids and trolls is super awesome. And so… vertical. If that makes any sense. I think the kids are my favorite. I like how uncharacteristically fierce John looks. Of course, Kanaya is as fucking gorgeous and badass as always. <3
OH MY GOOOOSH. This image of the kids all lying together in the grass might be one of my absolute favorites. I’ve seen a lot of technically impressive images, and so, so many pictures of all the kids together, but this one is just so… so soft, and so peaceful. I love the dappled sunlight effect, and how cute Dave and Jade are dozing off, and how pleased Rose looks, and John’s smile. Just… gosh. :>

Aw man. This Davesprite is beautiful, but so upsetting. It’s made somewhat better since I know he survived the attack… but did he survive the Scratch? Does Jade have him, since she shrunk him down along with Skaia? Anyway, gorgeous. I love the colors and the ‘flow’.

Also, I think I speak for everyone when I say that it's pretty much an objective fact that you are the best Homestuck liveblogger ever, though you've probably gotten a lot of asks about that already. Awww, thank you! I’m back for now! I do have a small backlog of posts, and the IRL problems are beginning to clear up, so you should be seeing more activity out of me in the future.
Fun Fact: The vocaloid soundbite "toki no hime wa inu wo tometa," as heard in Arisen Anew, translates roughly to "The Witch of Time has stopped the dog."

The curtains (probably) represent Acts. Four red curtains, then a blue one and another red curtain right after. So, Act 1 through 4, then Act 5 Act 1 followed by Act 5 Act 2. I'm not sure why they're all there though.

The curtains from the [S] Seer: Descend flash represent the acts of Homestuck. You went through four red curtains (Acts 1-4), then a blue curtain (Act 5 Act 1) immediately followed by a red one (Act 5 Act 2). These are all events leading up to the Beat Mesa transportalizer (the Scratch). The green curtains represent Act 6, divided into six sub-acts.

In a less formulaic approach, some have speculated that Prospit dreamers are heroes who must prove themselves warriors, while Derse dreamers are warriors who must prove themselves heroes. This makes sense if you consider the kid's personalities.
That might have made a lot of sense…. if it weren’t for Vriska! Or, maybe it holds true for most players, but Vriska is a weird exception. It seems pretty clear that there are a number of variables that go into whether a player is assigned Prospit or Derse. I guess my question would be, had Hussie decided on what these variables would be before he assigned Vriska to Prospit? My guess would be yes, considering the Derse!Vriska red herring. In that case, what is it that makes Vriska an outlier?
Anyway, this is a neat way of looking at it! If the hero/warrior dichotomy is really the case, then I would definitely be a Prospit dreamer. I’m far too passive to be a natural warrior.
