Apparently a live-action "Legend of Zelda" movie is in the works, and though it sounds interesting I wonder if they should instead make it as an animated movie.

Admittedly this is cause I love the idea of a Nintendoverse (which I talked about a bit here: https://www.tumblr.com/commenter2/715422357004615680/with-how-good-the-super-mario-bros-movie-was-i?source=share) being a thing after seeing the Super Mario Bros. Movie, and a live-action movie could (slightly) prevent that.

Luckily with all the versions of Link that exist, I could see one of them staring in an animated movie, who could then become part of the Nintendoverse. That or they could have the live-action characters be made into animated characters during a crossover like they did with Boimler and Mariner in Star Trek: Lower Decks.

With how good The Super Mario Bros. movie was, I hope more movies like it are made in the future. Heck I’m glad I’m not the only one who wishes to see a “Nintendo Cinematic Universe” or “Nintendoverse” in the future as it would be cool to see other Nintendo game franchises get a movie adaption.

I could see the more kid friendlier movies being made first like a DK spinoff movie, Kirby (which I think was confirmed somewhere), and Pikmin then I could see them testing out the more dramatic franchises like Legend of Zelda, Starfox, and then maybe Metroid which in turn could be referenced in the Starfox movie as it could be revealed that they take place in the same galaxy.

Eventually all these characters could meet in a Super Smash Bros. movie, which I would see being like a dangerous multiversal event involving Master Hand and Crazy Hand.
