If Rayman was mentioned in a lombax lorb

“These new dimensions I’m discovering keep getting better and better! This morning I found one where the world was this lush, colorful jungle. But there were also portals to other realms like a treetop vine village, one made of cake and sweets, one set in the Rocky Mountains, one made of musical instruments, and there was this guy who was running around grabbing these little lightning bugs or something. This character was very unique, his body was made of five separate parts floating in mid air! He could even glide by using his hair like blades. There was also a giant blue frog creature who was his best friend, a bunch of tiny blue guys who are the inhabitants of their kingdom, a barbarian princess with an axe, and a bunch of these winged ladies called nymphs who had…ahem….lovely figures. I am having so much fun mapping out these dimensions that I don’t care that I’m barely getting sleep! But I’m not done yet.”

A fun idea, and good timing too with a Rayman remaster being revealed recently.

Thinking back to that one line in ToD were pirates say the bounty for Ratchet is 'up to 20 quid'.

Does quid mean something different in Polaris? Or is the economy fucked? Because that's £20 and there is no fucking way the bounty on me is only £20 💀

I replayed the game recently and the line is the pirate bets 20 quid that he can shoot/shoot down Ratchet and Aphelion first.

1 week till the 5th anniversary of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

Still hoping that later this year we can get a small teaser or something Ratchet & Clank related from Insomniac Games to entertain the fandom.

Faye getting her own God of War game gives me hope that Rivet and Kit from the Ratchet & Clank series will indeed get their own spinoff game one day.

I mean there never any doubt about it, but with how great Wolverine looks which could endanger the future of the Ratchet & Clank series, I would accept nearly any ideas if it means letting the franchise exist longer.

Another fun State of Play.

Along with the reveal of Until Dawn 2 , and long overdue gameplay footage of Insomniac Games' Wolverine I already talked about, we are indeed getting a new God of War spinoff game where we play as Faye.

The game already looks great with Faye already having a unique moveset different from Kratos, that is also partially mysterious for story purposes.

I also love how the game' story is exploring a new plane of existence that is the "afterlife of gods", where like we saw a bit in the Norse saga we see beings from several other mythologies in one place such as Egyptian and Buddhism as we see the Goddess Sekhmet and Begtse, who interestingly seem to be romantically involved.

Rue and Phranque (a nod to Chaurli the turtle) are also already fun characters, likely being the Brok and Sindri of this game. I mean Phranque is a D&D inspired gelatinous cube! Who wouldn't love that as a fun side character.

Not only is the mask for Ragnarok going to be explore in this game (and good thing too) but I think we can agree that this game will definitely tackle that fake Athena that was seen in GOW 3 and 4.

Plus we could not only possibly see Thor and maybe Brok again, but also the Greek Gods! Just imagine Zeus or Persephone learning that Faye is Kratos' wife!

Insomniac Game's Wolverine gameplay thoughts.

We got some gameplay footage of Insomniac Game's upcoming Wolverine game, and it looks awesome.

I love how while with a different Marvel hero, the world does have a similar vibe to IG's Spider-Man games, which was obviously done on purpose as I sense a shared universe happening one day.

We also got to see some of Wolverine's unique abilities like how similar to Spider-Man 2, Wolverine will have 4 unique attacks, 1 is more of a more wide range attack and one that focuses on a single target. I wonder if he could gain more and they can be switched out? Either way seeing his claws in action adds more to my belief they should use the claw gameplay mechanic in the next R&C game via the Razor Claws weapon.

We also see that Wolverine along with a "feral mode" that can be filled up, the environment can be used to aid in fights, which is good for this game but it makes me nervous about another IG project but that is for another day. Also with the surprise reveal of Jean Grey, Wolverine won't be fighting alone at times, as I bet on a few occasions other Marvel characters will aid him in battle, not just mutants.

We also see that to reference his healing factor, when Wolverine is low on heath, you can do a quick time event to restore his health. I bet the button will change every time this happens so healing him isn't so easy.

Also IDK about you but when I saw Wolverine stab that sword guy in the red suit I got Deadpool vibes. Maybe he will cameo in it given his history with Wolverine. Might be given all the other big X-Men characters already confirmed to be in the game.

This is going to be a fun game, which is both good AND bad considering I am a big Ratchet & Clank fan.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart had Ratchet and Clank, and a few other classic R&C characters meeting people and their AU counterparts from Rivet and Kit’s universe, so imagine if in a future game or two Rivet and Kit meet people from the other's universe. I’ve already talked abut them meeting characters like Captain Qwark, Talwyn Apogee, and Aphelion before they join them on their trip to the Lombax Dimension but another character I could see them meeting (even if offscreen) is Big Al.

We have seen other characters with robotic limbs before Rivet, and Big Al was one of them as a result of the events of Ratchet Deadlocked. Admittedly the comics showed him without them BUT that could lead to an interesting story with Rivet. What if since we last saw him he either got special plating that makes his robotic parts look more organic OR he got special where they were able to grow the missing parts he needed and went back to being 100% organic. What if this makes Rivet wonder if she should go through such a surgery for her missing arm. Hey its better then what they were trying to do with that out of nowhere moment on Torren IV with Clank.

Kit meeting Big Al would also be beneficial, as along with liking his tech skills I could see Al fitting her with a Heli-Pack, Hydro-Pack, and a "Kit Light" after she saw Ratchet and Clank use them in action. This would also be a good in universe reason for why Kit could do all those things now since we last saw her. Maybe her packs could be different like she just has one jet on her Hydro-Pack or her light also has a "siren mode" where he spins around when detecting danger or something unique.

Imagine Rivet X Sasha becoming a thing

Today is the start of Pride Month and every year since the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart I recall how one of the people who worked on the game stated that Rivet is a lesbian.

I should also state that there was also another statement from a different person who worked on it claiming Rivet is trans, but along with being a topic for a later day I want to focus on the first fact. Now admittedly it was part of an angry post spree the person was having, but to this day Insomniac Games has never confirmed NOR deny it meaning it could be possible.

I would be okay if it was canon, and I’m not just saying that because I am a Ratchet X Talwyn shipper, as it would be interesting if later in the series we see Rivet date someone Ratchet knew, like Sasha Phyronix.

For 2016 and PS3 fans, Sasha was Ratchet’s main love interest during the PS2 era of the franchise appearing in 2 games. She was a military captain of the Solana and eventually became mayor of Kerwan city of Metropolis.

I think it would be nice if they dated, and as a result it could give off a vibe similar to Ratchet X Sasha, which I think would make those shippers happy to a degree.

This June 11th will be the 5 year anniversary of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

It is a bit surprising it's been that long, and the fact this year was also the 10 year anniversary of the 2016 game and movie doesn't help with the wait of the next R&C game. The good news is that Insomniac Game's Wolverine game is coming out this years. so hopefully we get some news about the next Ratchet & Clank game soon.

Because of this I think we should try and post as much Ratchet & Clank stuff before and during June 11th as maybe if we show Insomniac Games there is still a big demand for a new game, they will give us a small teaser about it before the end of the year.

Wouldn't hurt, so yeah if you have anything try and get it out before the 11th. I got several ideas already that I will try and post.

Found out a few days ago that there is a Zatch Bell sequel that started in 2022. How am I just hearing about this?

There are only 6 volumes so far, but that is because due to being screwed over by a publishing company before (long story) the creator is making it himself. While nice to see him being independent it also means he can't publish it in English, or any volumes of the 1st Zatch Bell either.

Still it is awesome hearing such a thing, and from what I'm seeing it looks awesome, like how the character and Mamudo are older with new designs. There is also a bigger thing about the premise but I won't spoil it.

Just learned about how the creator of El Tigre went from signing up to create a AI generated show for Amazon (despite his past statements on AI) to backing out of it basically over a single day.

Since people are still talking about it and getting artist and other people to stop using AI in their content, lets try and get the creators of The Annoying Orange to stop using AI too.

While no longer a fan of the channel (I'm overall neutral about it) for quite some time now the channel has used AI content in their thumbnails and actual videos, but I bring this up now as one of their more "recent" episodes had them make fun of AI with it ending saying they wouldn't do anything like that anymore, yet are still using it for thumbnails and who know for what else.

Look I know the AO series is heavily reliant on using computers to make their content and posting several videos a week, but still.

Some Gameovervese theories

The Gameoverse pilot came out almost 2 weeks ago and it is obviously good, with great characters, explaining the intriguing rules of this universe, and of course leaving enough mystery and drama to make you come back for more.

Because of how good it was people are already posting theories about what is/could happen and I wanted to post some of mine too.

First one is that I agree that the antagonist Miss Information was originally a tutorial guide/NPC BUT I think she was also a minor villain, as there are games where it turns out an ally that helps you was secretly evil the entire time. Bioshock is a perfect example of what I mean.

Same with the popular theory of Fold having been the paper Kit and Kaboodle used to discover their Kibble Star armor form. I have another theory going over a possible origin story for Fold.

My next theory is what I think the main plan of Warrick, leader of the Syntax. I like the theory that instead of being a former hero, Warrick was always a villain but maybe originally a 2nd in command like character who hated always losing all the time and eventually discovering he was programmed to be a villain and never got a choice. After said discovery of being in a game (maybe Warrick's boss discovered it but died) and there is a multiverse of villains that were meant to lose, he felt bad and now seeks to rewrite reality so that either the villains are heroes and vice versa OR maybe give video game characters more free will. It would explain why he keeps saving the villains of destroyed worlds and gives them a choice to join his army, though I bet most don't know of his plan as I bet some of the more psychotic villains would hate the idea of be remade as heroes.

Dusk could have been either another 2nd command villain from his world or one of the first villains Warrick tried to recruit, but Dusk turned him down as while evil he either has limits or is okay with the status quo and doesn't want to change reality. There is definitely going to be a big twist with Dusk as along with looking like Sephiroth and Alucard, the fact Farcade is just letter away from becoming Facade has to mean something.

And finally I think Lulu is a mascot like figure of the Farcade army. She boosts moral, and she helped Kit after she lost her world. This resulted in Kit developing a crush on her. Lulu could also be a celebrity of the Farcade army. Kit could like her both as a fan, and maybe as a one sided crush (for now) because Lulu helped comfort Kit after she lost her world. While people say she is a "magical girl" like character she look like she came from a maid cafe game. I just wanted to point this out as maybe the heart on her signature was just part of her maid personality if she and Kit are not in love.

What are your thoughts on these theories?

Caught up on the new season of Regular Show, and the Pops season premiere episode got me theorizing about something. Spoilers below.

In that episode it is implied that Pops has been in the afterlife for some time now, I mean his dad was there, and all that time he was watching the VHS tape from the original series final containing memories of the other characters. When the tape breaks he goes on a typical Regular Show adventure to find a new one, where he finds a series of other tapes he never got.

He found them with the help of a friendly VHS being, who near the end of the episode watches Pops take his tapes and leaves, which to me is foreshadowing something.

Turns out I am right as in that same episode we learn of a guy whose is offering to convert people's tapes into digital versions people can stream, and was obviously angry when Pops wouldn't give him his and how later in the episode there were some employees of his were digitizing peoples tapes without consent. According to the wiki the season finale is called "The Ultimate Format War", so this means the guy is obviously going to be the main antagonist of that episode wanting to rid all VHS tapes in the afterlife.

If I am truly right this would be cool writing AND it makes me wonder if during the episode modern day Mordecai, Rigby and the other heroes of the previous Format Wars will have to go to the afterlife to help Pops stop the bad guy. It would be really touching if they and Pop got to see each other face to face just for a moment.

It’s still crazy The Late Show, as a whole, is ending tonight.

I think it would be funny if Fold from Gameoverse came from a rock, paper, scissors themed game.

It could be revealed that he turned evil because he hated the whole balance system in his game (since it made fights end in stalemates) and wanted the means to destroy both sides once and for all.

It would also be funny if later in the series we see a rock and scissors themed character. One could want justice/revenge on Fold while the other leads another group that could want to destroy both Syntax and Farcade.

"The Island of Doctor Morose" just launched today, and I'm surprised there are only 2 videos about it.

I think this is the first time in....well a long time since the internet was NOT on top of a game release.

I hope that changes soon, as a Doctor Seuss themed horror game is very unique and hopefully the creator gets more attention.
