Going through my camera roll and just found some of my slugcat drawings + snakes cause why not (these r all from January)
Meet Pebl, my needle felted monk slugpup oc :) dk if this counts as an oc cause their lore is quite literally non-existant; they’re a monk slugpup and their name is Pebl and that is it. (Also this is from a while ago and I named Pebl before I properly knew about 5 pebbles - the name resemblance isn’t intentional)
Drew a fox today :)
Something I found very useful for drawing dynamic poses is drawing with my non-dominant (in my case left) hand (I drew this fully left handed). Cause doing that takes away most of your control which then makes you acc think about where you put your lines. It also stops you from trying to make every line ultra neat/perfect (which is smth I do a lot which just ends up making my drawings really ridged/lifeless). Skipping the pencil sketch and only using ink/smth you can’t erase is also pretty useful for this (which is also smth I did when drawing this fox). Dynamic poses/ general movement is smth I usually find quite difficult to draw and this has been quite helpful.
So ye, would recommend this method (especially if you’re a perfectionist when it comes to your art). Give your art permission to be ‘messy’/chaotic. Makes drawing a lot more interesting+entertaining.
This is my robot creature oc thing (only just made them yesterday evening). They’re rly polite, always mildly sleep deprived and live in a state of perpetual bewilderment, never properly knowing what’s going on. They also have a button collection that they’re rly protective over. Anyone got name suggestions?

They also always look like they’re either rly sleepy or on the verge of tears or r plotting smth and I love them for that
