@niobechris me too, I really enjoyed this film, even though it seemed a bit dry on paper. Didn't know much about the history of IT in the UK either, so it was interesting and educational as well 👍
@la-pou-belle It makes me sad, too. I'd be able to deal with Martin being in a so-so quality project as long as he's being treated well, getting an appropriate amount of publicity that's respectful of his character, be given a decent opportunity to shine given the role he's supposed to play. But he's not, so like you, I look forward to MCU and StartUp and whatever other productions are willing to give him that chance. @niobechris lol I meant ranting about S4, not ranting in general--I could never give up on ranting 😉 And thankyou.
@niobechris I'd say he's still an agent and able to use their resources for a little more time--as you said he's not under suspicion yet for Maddie's murder. As to whether he's with Nick and Izzy's side, or the Russian Mob's, I'd say it's a hell of a triple cross, if he's working with the Gencorp crew against the mob to bring them down--he's had to give away Izzy's address and led to her sister being killed. I'd say he's taking a cockroach approach and doing whatever he needs to survive, maybe providing enough info to escape or ending up in bed with the mob while he still has his (double)agent status--he does have a lot of knowledge and intel they could tap into--in any case this makes him a pretty dangerous and unpredictable customer. I could be totally wrong though, and really have no idea how they're going to spin this...which is great 😅
@niobechris oh totally, me too 😊 Between this mob-entanglement stuff with the lost money, and the feds/cops investigating Maddy's murder, and the something going on with Nick's dad (who is *also* on the run), and his ex-wife knowing he murdered Maddy, and the random late-teen daughter who seemingly appeared out of nowhere...Phew! There's a whole lot of elements to mine and draw from to go around for another season, so it's a case of what they'll go with really. Looking forward to the Rasky wacky hijinks 👍
@niobechris yeah, ikr?? He was in a fair bit of a corner last time we saw him, but what happened afterwards also hinted at a way out. Although his is certainly a downward trajectory, and more of a case of who he brings down with him in the process than if he manages to escape. But really, who knows what crazy stuff they’ll come up with this time for him! That’s the exciting thing about it 👍
@niobechris maybe, but one of these comments was taken from my gifset of him on the rooftop, so that one didn't seem to be commenting on our 'gushing'. It was just weird, and well, stupid and pointless. And agreed, no-one here is demanding Phil and Maddy romantic aus where they run off into the sunset with his money.
