“H-How do I pick a name? I want a name.” The Sapling stuttered, squinting against the morning sun.
“You just pick one! What’s the first thing that comes to mind?” Aedan asked, his strong arms still wrapped around the other’s waist.
“Etheteral.”
“That’s a horrible name.”
“What? I think it’s-”
“Try again.” Aedan urges, and the sapling casted his eyes away and beyond- scanning over the colourful village carefully to spike ideas. Nothing. He couldn’t think of anything.
“I don’t know-”
“Niranthel. How about that?” The tall indigo Sapling cuts in, peering down at the newly sprouted Sylvari with a softness in his cerulean eyes. The unnamed Sylvari would blink then, and up to the taller Sapling.
“Niranthel?” He rolls the name on his tongue, as if testing how it tasted in his mouth.
There was then a pause for a moment of thought.
“I-I like Niranthel. I think I want to be called that.”
So I recently gave my oldest, and most favorable character a makeover for the first time in along time.
Meet the new Niranthel, a Dreamer Secondborn and Ex-Army Medic now turned florist. He’s an expert at Chronomancy, and lives in Lion’s Arch with his two partners (Tori and Nymalla) and children: Carmen, Eleanor, Trikkie, Slick and Charles.
He’s recently gone through some rough times, so I thought he deserved a new, drama-free, fulfilling life. AS I ALWAYS INTENDED FOR HIM.
