. . The Sunday started a bit late today, for a change woke up late...from a working Sunday since many months to a social Sunday...for a change.. . . A French Press coffee with a dribble of caramel from @coffee_nirvana . . Feet painted in dual colours, the after effects of going out with DD (the to-be-teen), shopping after a long time. . . Then lunch with Sheetal, @fromquerencia and hand-delivering her #Kokedamas. She has picked up few plants for us from one of her trips. We at NIRVANA are lucky to have such lovely clients who help us that way!!! . . A visit to Dear Sujathas Golu, @moni.mcnmeen and the heart warming tète-à-tète we had, I think we could go on and on forever...hai na Suj? . . . . •Syngoniun Stories• . . Management and maintenance of #Kokedama is not rocket science. . . This lush green 🍀Syngonium, with a firm moss ball and well established roots is 7 months old. The moss is also regrowing greener. The last picture in the series shows the one when it was fresh and nascent. . . This Kokedama was made and was displayed in my Mom-in-laws home when I made few #Kokedamas during my visit to her place in February. She was very thrilled because she always appreciates anything that is unique and hand created. . . When she asked me how she would maintain it, I told her to just water it. And she did. It is TRUST. . . And then something unforeseen happened. She had to stay out of her home for about 3 months, she was here with us. The caretaker of her house just followed the regimen of watering and gently caring. No frills, no fuss. Just TRUST. . . And then Mom-in-Law returns home and describes how the Kokedama has grown. I requested her to please send it to me, because I just wanted to tell the world that - maintaining a Kokedama is not rocket science. First you need to TRUST. And then you do what is required. . . Few clients write in to me about their flourishing Kokedamas. Few write to me with their lovely experiences of learning and discoveries with the Kokedama which are beautiful stories. Few don't give any feedback at all, I keep wondering, but I understand that it is my limitation. . But many would just write in or call to crib and complain. I sometimes feel miserable with this loss of TRUST in people, in humanity, and how we have lost trust in the nature and environment. . . Kokedama is TRUST. The trust grows with you. . .
