RIP Nitama, the station master cat. You were the best cat to continue Tama's legacy, and will be deeply missed. There will be a memorial service at Kishi Station on December 13th, 2025 at 12:30 local time.

<p>Nitama, who served as the second cat stationmaster at Kishi Station in Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, passed away on Thursday, Wakayama E
Nooooooo.
Nitama, Tama's successor, passed away on the 20th. She was 15.
I wonder if they're going to put her somewhere nice like Tama and have her own shrine.
RIP, Nitama. You're now the second eternal station master.
THE TAMAS have been WARRIOR CATIFIED
TrackStar: Tama
TrackStar 2: Nitama
TrackSun: Sun-Tama-Tama
TrackPaw: Yontama
They’ve ruled over TrainClan for generations and have always been a hit. TrackSun even became famous in another clan, but no one’s upset about it. Some say the first TrackStar brought so much life to the clan, she practically became a goddess in StarClan.
If they name the fifth one Tamago I’ll draw a TrackEgg, if not I’ll die
forgot to post this terrible watercolor of the kishi station cats. oops… I’m sorry tama you deserve better
Return of Station Master Nitama! They're a slightly older vessel OC of mine, who was previously featured in a Hollow Knight based D&D campaign I ran. I've made a full reference for them as an adult, and plan to feature them in some upcoming writing!
06/12/2013: Stopped at Idakiso Station on the Kishigakawa Line of the Wakayama Electric Railway to see Nitama, Tama’s eventual successor. (Nitama is currently cat stationmaster of the Kishigakawa Line after Tama’s passing in 2015.)
