headcanon time! yor and loid going on a couple’s retreat (for the mission of course) and on different parts of the day they overhear the other talking to guests who insinuate nasty things about them which initially put doubts in their heads but loid/yor immediately defend their spouse talking about how amazing and kind they are as a spouse and parent which lift them up and when they reunite that night they can’t look at each other’s eyes without blushing.
of course it’s for the mission ahjdgwjw but oh my gosh yes!— i can totally picture loid here defending yor and really putting emphasis on her title going my wife instead of just saying yor as he speaks about her. gotta let everyone out here know that she’s his wife.
