hi garretttt!!!!!! we havent talked in a while but i wanted to let u know that i just started blasphemous!! and im abt to do a research project on medieval period adaptations and we're allowed to do it on games !! so we might do blasphemous but ur like the expert on medieval games so i wanted to ask u first on like ur fav games id like to know teehee^_^
OKAY OKAY OKAY before i begin. WHAT class are you taking that lets you do this ive never been more envious in my entire life
and to answer your question!!!! this is open to the rest of my medieval buddies too but i think blasphemous is a great starting point for medieval videogames! another good one ive picked up is pentiment, its very historically accurate in both its art direction and setting... feels very grounded in realism and its execution is incredible. something more arthurian (even if its not as obvious in its final version) would be the first thief game, its more of a mishmash in terms of its setting but i feel like it could be something valuable :^]

JACK. HORROR STORY .. please i wouldlikeb to know
NITYA YES ILY SO BAD
okayokayokay it's set in a sci-fi world where this group of explorers go to separate off worlds to collect planetary information. lots of tech and stuff
but where it starts is that they've been stranded on this lush, green planet that's surprisingly barren even though there's remnants of "alien" techwear. this group decides to search it and return at nightfall, and it's fine, it's dandy, but then one of their friends go missing.
trying to find him, they find more and more strange things along the way. doors with intricate looking locks, skeletons decorated in ritualistic metals. it's strange. the main character of this story wants to stay and search for his friend, and yet is outvoted.
but, when they leave the planet (and their missing friend) behind, strange things follow them no matter what star system they enter. all of which seem to be connected to a string of murders where the body is missing it's heart.
