Eddie and V are listening to the song from "Supernatural" (Kansas - "Carry On Wayward Son"), that was playing in my headphones while I was drawing this art, and while our boys were watching the show...) Yes, one day it turned out that our Eddie really loves this show))

It seems that this time suddenly my drawing turned out to be almost an album cover) And we would like to share with you a possible tracklist of this "record" - a selection of some inspiring and shrill songs that gives you goosebumps and that you want to listen to, walking under a high sky of early spring ..) Okay, so, 3 weeks passed from we first time watched Venom 2 on the pre-premier, and this art is a kinda our reaction and our feelings for it.

A call, a message from our boys from V for Venom universe to them, Eddie and Vee from Venom 2, but not to them as they appeared on the screen. To a some version of them which is covered deep in the movie under a million of loud jokes, and rudeness, and lack of symbiosis, and lack of emotions.

To those guys who have their rights for feelings, not for words and actions only.

Just want to warm them and say that everything will be okay.

I want to pay attention, that we are those, for whom the first Venom changed all life completely, and there's no enough words to say thanks for it.

I really sorry I can't write in english all the 15 pages of my review, which I wrote in russian, so I can only be short in my words, cause it's not my native language.

So, we watched Venom 2 seven times already, in russian and in english.

We can't operate with words "like/dislike", it's not that category of emotions.

There was a lot of pain and misunderstanding for us after first times. There was a long way to acception. Through all that stages. And acception is not reached yet. And here's a lot of painful love above that all.

We went there with our hearts and minds opened and free from any expectations, ready to love everything they will give us, ready to see our beloved boys again on big screen. But we couldn't handle what we got. We were not ready for this super-fast gallop with jokes, jokes, jokes, lack of emotions, rewritten charachters, rewritten facts from the first movie, too loud musik and all this.. I only could think: "It's so.. different. So terrifyingly different. Just.. why?.. I just want to go "home", to the world of first movie, which is so unperfect, and so beautiful, and so harmonical."

Of course we were not waiting for, you know, kisses and hugs and pet names or something. Of course we hoped they will handle the first movie and it's atmosphere carefully, and continue this atmosphere in second movie. But no.

Too much promises from the creators during the advertising campaign about "relationship development", "symbiosis development", but movie is not about it, it's about finding a place in the world, finding a place under the sun, becoming hero. It's about desires and actions, not a "love story". And it's okay, it's a good theme, but why they promised the other?.. And all this symbrock moments for fans - they are rude and shouting, like golden sand thrown in the eyes. It's a pain and it's a.. shame.

We couldn't believe this "love" talk, unfortunatelly. It has no emotions. Like, you know, in damned vol. 4. And it's bad.

One phrase from the first movie "You did, Eddie" more then all "moments" of "old married couple" they give us here.

And we still hope that, huh, somewhere there is another movie. Solid, beautiful, longer than that ridiculous 1:25 of pure movie without credits, where they allow themselves to feel what are they doing. Not only to rush and shout and change the scenes second by second.

Cause Venom 2 deserves better. Just.. better, then they showed it to us.

And ridiculously, after all of this, we love the movie and we love them, Eddie and Vee, not "still", but even more. Such a crasy enormous painful feeling. Cause it's just.. love, yes. And if this time something went wrong and something is not for joy but for pain and many thoughts, it's okay. It's just love, and we have an endless ammount of love to this world, to these guys, just want a bit more emotions and symbiosis and their special warmness for them.

Still in huge pain to write all of this...)

And I don't want someone to argue with me, sorry. It's our uneasy and honest opinion.

You can write your opinion, if you want. But not arguing.

P.S. We're totally in love with Cletus and Shreik and all their theme.

And I don't want to write anything about Carnage/Cletus death - it's just awful and full of shame in all ways.

A piece of unfinished illustration for the chapter of our boys' story about mirrors and Eddie's relationship with them.

The moment when Eddie, for the first time gazing intently at their half-form in the mirror, for a moment thinks about their really great strength, about impunity, about the fact that they may not be afraid of anyone, but they can easily make others to be afraid of them. The moment when he is so delighted with his other and disappointed in himself that he thinks about completely merging with the symbiote, forever.

A moment of weakness from which, fortunately, he quickly gets out, not without the help of Venom, and comes to much more right and healthy thinking about himself and his other..

The background, by the way, is just my playing with saturation) But this way the picture got an interesting color divide.

March is a very special month for Venom.

In addition to the meowing in love March cats, new tasty smells from the street and the rising (gods, how it can be even higher? 😅) testosterone level in the blood of his lovely host, this is the month of his Eddie's birth. 🖤

Symbiote cannot return to Eddie's childhood to protect him from everything in this world, to make him feel not alone, but so needed and so loved... But he loves to return secretly to Brock's childhood memories, pulling out the warmest and lightest ones, quietly vibrating with love and mentally wrapping this sweet human baby with warm and tender black tendrills..)

And I don't remember how exactly it happened, but one day I caught this picture in my mind - how Eddie accidentally stumbled upon his childhood photos at home. There are not so many of them and they are probably hidden far away, but the one was found: a photo from Eddie's first birthday. Probably, the nanny took this photo, maybe she tried to arrange some kind of holiday secretly from the gloomy parent, for whom his son's birthday was definitely not a reason to celebrate...

But it seems that Eddie disliked this day even as a baby..) And now an old photograph would probably cause complex strange feelings for him...

But Venom, on the contrary, is insanely happy with the find, this moment caught by a stranger, a look from the outside.

And black tendrills reach out to the card and envelop it from all sides, wanting to take it with them, keep this picture in memory. And convey all the love to his host: in present, in past, in future. 😌

I'm sure that Venom can make Eddie to keep at least one photo with them, as a keepsake) And, as usual, symbiote will help Brock to look at himself and his not always happy memories with a different look - with their special look, together. Venom may not be able to change the past, but he can make the memories about it warmer even from their nowtime.

Март - особенный месяц для Венома.

Кроме занимательно орущих котиков, новых вкусных запахов с улицы и повышающегося (боги, куда ещё выше? 😅) уровня тестостерона в крови любимого хоста... это месяц, когда родился его Эдди. 🖤

Клинтарец не может вернуться в его детство, чтобы защитить там от всего на свете, дать почувствовать себя неодиноким, таким нужным и любимым... Но любит тайком возвращаться к детским воспоминаниям Брока, вытягивать самые тёплые и светлые, тихо вибрировать от накатывающего обожания и мысленно облизывать целиком этого сладкого человеческого детёныша..)

И я уже не помню как именно, но однажды я поймал и не смог развидеть эту картинку - как Эдди случайно наткнулся дома на свои детские фото. Их не так много и они наверняка спрятаны куда подальше, но вот нашлась она: фотография с его первого дня рождения. Наверное, его сфотографировала няня, быть может, пыталась устроить какой-то праздник тайком от хмурого родителя, для которого день рождения сына точно не был поводом для празднования...

Но, кажется, Эдди уже тогда недолюбливал этот день..) Да и сейчас старая фотография, наверное, вызвала бы сложные противоречивые чувства...

А вот Веном, напротив, безумно рад находке, этому пойманному чужим человеком моменту, взгляду со стороны.

И чёрные хваталки тянутся к карточке и окутывают её со всех сторон, желая забрать с собой, оставить кадром в памяти. И передать хосту всю любовь: к нему настоящему, прошлому, будущему. 😌

Я уверен, что Веному удалось бы уговорить Эдди забрать хотя бы одну карточку с собой, им на память) И, как обычно, помочь Броку посмотреть на себя и свои не всегда радостные воспоминания другим взглядом - своими глазами, их глазами, вместе. Пускай симбиот не может изменить прошлое, но может сделать память о нём теплее даже из настоящего.

You can spend the whole night explaining to Venom what this set of words is about and why this day is celebrated! 😅 Today, in honor of such an unusual New Year's Day, we want to show you an equally unusual illustration for the old Klintar fairy tale (let's imagine that it exists and that symbiotes tell it to the younger generation like a horror story))) about "how Knull dragged the planet of symbiotes"! 🤣 No, no, we didn’t get drunk in honor of the holiday, and it wasn’t even Santa with his bag of gifts who inspired us for this drawing! Just after reading the comic vol.4, our psychological trauma was so deep that our brains were looking for at least some ray of light among that trash and sadness. And found it in this funny moment! Have you noticed HOW LONG Knull was dragging his zombified symbiotes behind him? The whole planet, yeah! Which is not a planet at all, but a clew of symbiotes. 🤦‍♂ In general, yes, the vol's.4 theory of the origin of symbiotes and their habitats is categorically not close to us.
