I’m Valerie! I’m a college student who’s been working on this one story since I was 15. I’m 20 now. It’s called mindscape. Here’s the leave behind I wrote for a class:

Mindscape is a psych horror following the lives of the psychologists and interns who work at the Crisis Elimination Clinic. Patients are admitted into the CEC in place of a baker act where their minds are literally gone into by interns, psychedelic style. The game takes place in 2045, exploring the psyches, or mindscapes, of various patients. A strong focus is on the interns and the psychologists, and how they feel concerning their roles at this corrupt clinic.

I really care about this story and honestly leaving asks and engaging would make my day. Genuinely. I actually adore thinking about this and talking about this so I thought I’d finally make all of this its own blog. I’ll be reblogging my posts from my main about this for organizational purposes.

DNI minors because I think about these people having sex all the time. I’ll block you in fact (for my peace of mind) and terfs and all of that cause you’ll hate this and I hate you!

Edochi means replacement……..nkiru means future…..future replacement? Who is she replacing? I don’t think she’s replacing anyone I think she’s going to be replaced. Does her name foreshadow her quitting. I’m a genius

I think the resolution to emerkiru finally becoming friends is emery putting their pride to the side and admitting they have a lot to learn from her. Nkiru’s obvi super taken aback because the reason she’s such a dick to emery isnt just cause they’re fun to get a reaction out of but also because she doesn’t think they respect her a ton. And emery lacks respect for her because they think she lacks respect for them. This would happen after she quits though. Unsure

Nkiru is interesting to me…here’s some Nkiru facts

• she’s in an open marriage. I don’t know what her husband’s name is just yet. All I know is he’s beautiful and they’re t4t.

• she’s aro. She loves her husband but it’s not really a romantic love, and romance isn’t a consideration for her. She does like sex, though. She’s bisexual.

• she’s married for tax benefits but her husband is more like her best friend and roommate who she does adore and often has sex with. It’s not really romance though it’s just like having an awesome fwb situation.

• her sex drive isn’t actually that high Id say it’s about average

• she has 13 Bantu knots as of now.

• her favorite color is yellow. Teal is a close second. She’s really fond of frutiger aero.

• she has two dogs. Not sure what their names are or what breeds they are though

• she owns a house

• she has a kid. I know nothing about him. Maybe he has a sister or something I actually do not know

• she’s one of the only psychologists at the cec without a doctorate. She’s just spectacularly good

• Nkiru is easily the most healthy person in mindscape mentally. Like easily. Remarkably so. She’s an asshole especially to emery but actually she’s totally fine because she has a normal relationship with work and clients and everything

• shes nigerian

• Nkiru’s name means “the future is bright.” I swear to god when I was researching her last name it was all spelled Edochi but now looking it up it’s spelled Edochie. Edochi must be some sort of variation. My last name is more of a rare variation of Duran, for example. Aghh. Anyways, edochi/e means replacement.

• she likes rompers and flowy clothing generally but will wear tight fits to go out

• shes 37 when mindscape takes place
