Notice Me Senpai: Christmas Confession Mode! - How it Works
Hello everyone! We’ve had some confusion, on both our parts and others, about how exactly “Christmas Super Love Mode” works!
Please understand that when you click the readmore below, there are MAJOR spoilers for this mode and for overall gameplay.

- What is Christmas Super Love Mode?
It’s similar to the Star Festival Yukata Love Mode! Using the Christmas outfits, it’s a different costume that allows you to unlock/see your favorite senpai in a new outfit, and when you reach Level 8, see new quotes!
To use Christmas Super Love Mode, you have to have your senpai(s) wear the Christmas outfit.
- What happens if I change it?
As of right now, it seems that you can change it, but you will not lose progress. However, to advance further in Level and in Confession, you will have to put the outfit back on.
- I got to Level 8. What’s this --/3 thing?
When you achieve Level 8 in Christmas Super Love Mode, through either the three times a day or the cake method, you’ll be presented with a brand new meter to fill that looks like this:
You’ll note the “0/3″ underneath the heart. This number then goes up the first time you fill the meter:
Ta-da! Your counter has gone up one number!
- So how do those meters work, then?
Recall that Notice Me Senpai works in days, each new day starting at 12AM, your time, on the dot. The gacha resets at that hour. A senpai’s birthday starts right at midnight.
The meters work the same way. You fill the meter up once a day! For example, I started mine on 12/21, and filled the meter to get 1/3. On 12/22, just after midnight, I filled it again, and was presented with this meter:
And so on until Day 3. You fill it up once again, and you get your “Christmas Confession”! (more on that later)
- Oh no, I’m so bad at keeping up with Super Love Mode! What if I’m a very infrequent player?
Don’t fret - the game doesn’t give you just twelve hours like the usual Super Love Modes when you’ve filled the meter. Instead it gives you 48 hours after the moment you fill the meter to reach the next level. That is a whole two days to catch your favorite in your café and level them up!
You’ll have plenty of time to catch them! The timer begins it’s countdown from 48 hrs for 1/3, goes down, then resets back to 48 when you get Level 2/3.
- So what happens at Level 3?
At level 3, a “confession” happens. But the part is not on the senpai’s... it’s your choice to make.
When you fill the meter up one last time, you are presented with the following screen:
Gasp! What’s this?
You, the kouhai, are confessing your love to a single senpai!
- What?? You can only pick one?
We all have to remember that Notice Me Senpai is, at heart, an otome game. You are going to choose the one boy that you promise yourself to (hence the couple/promise ring that you two share).
You can leave this senpai for another if you want to read and see all the confessions, you’ll just have to give up the meter of the boy who you were dating originally (They will reset back to Level 7 of 8).
Choose wisely! Or never choose at all... it is up to you.
- Does them being on Ultimate Love Mode get you anything?
You get a cute little ring next to their name:
And what seems like an eternal SLM meter, their total devotion to you, and every single time they visit, they will leave you gems!
Look for this icon above their heads:
And tap it!
Look at that.
- Can we really only pick just one?
There’s been a bit of confusion surrounding this point: You can only be with ONE boy at a time. Yes, you do have to choose.
You do pick one boy to have the ring with, to get gems from, etc. However, if you boost up another boy’s meter, you will get the following screen:
You essentially break up with your current boy and confess to the new one. Which is a little sad! But there is no other way to be with multiple boys on Ultimate Love Mode. There is no break-up scene or lines - just the switching of rings.
That should cover just about everything about Christmas Confession Mode and this new fancy “Pick Your Boyfriend” Ultimate Love Mode!
