Bro i miss Skillshot Lab's Notice Me Senpai App. I almost have everything but some things are all glitched out, plus I wanna get those clean CGs. I hope if @skillshotlabs ever comes back with a update they fix all of this. ;m;
Hi! I'm not going through the best time right now, so could you write a small drabble ficlet about Kyouya-sensei comforting a female reader for feeling like a failure? It'd mean the world to me! Thank you for everything ❤❤🌹
Of course I can. And, although I don’t know what you’re going through, I hope that things will get better for you soon. Thank you for requesting, and I hope you enjoy.

The bell had already chimed and echoed through the halls, having told the students of the academy to go home long ago. With several staying back to attend their club activities. Around this time, faculty members would either be grading papers, planning the next days lessons, or walking around the campus. Their job was to shoo off any loitering students, back to their dorms or where ever they needed to be next.
Kyouya was one of the people who usually did the last, he was used to dealing with troublesome students anyway. Especially when the most notorious troublemaker was one of the students you had to teach and see on a near-daily basis, with the exception of the times he skipped class.
So far, he only had to deal with a few rebellious first years that he found staying behind in their classrooms. All he had to do was glare at them and they were immediately on their way.
Besides that one small incident, it seemed as if nobody else was dawdling around. Good, that meant he’d be able to go back home and rest for a while longer.
But, while travelling up the staircase to the rooftop, he heard a faint voice from behind the door. Upon leaning closer, he noticed the sound of choked sobs. And worry immediately began filling him.
He put his hand on the knob, exhaling deeply, as if to prepare for what could possibly happen. Turning it, and opening the door until he was able to peek his head out. Scanning the roof and trying to look for the one who was hiding outside.
However, as soon as the person outside heard someone else entering, they let out a small gasp of surprise. Scrambling to get up and diving behind someplace to avoid being seen, hoping that whoever it was would see that nobody was there and go away.
“Hello?” Kyouya asked, stepping out and closing the door behind him. “Is someone out here?”
His question was met with a gust of wind as a response. At this point, some would have turned back around, thinking that their assumption of someone being there was wrong. Not him, he swore that there was another person here. And he wouldn’t leave until he found them.
He began walking around, checking behind anything that could possibly be used as a hiding place. After about a minute or so of wandering around and finding nothing, he began to suspect that he really had just imagined the noise he heard.
Until he turned his head up, meeting someone else’s eyes. Who turned back when she saw him look at her. She knew he had seen her and, judging by the sound of footsteps coming closing, he was coming to her too. Knowing this, she covered up her face with her hands. Desperately trying to cover up her features.
The teacher turned the corner, finally spotting the one he had been searching for crouched behind it. She was turned away from him, and he could guess why she was trying to obscure herself.
“{Y/N}?” He tentatively walked closer to her.
Her breath hitched, moving her fingers so she could look at him. {E/C} eyes widening in alarm when she recognized him. “K-Kyouya-sensei?!” In a moment of vulnerability, her arms fell from her face out of shock. Which allowed the teacher to catch a glimpse of the dried tear trails left on her cheeks.
His eyebrows knit into a face of worry. “What are you doing here? I heard a voice, so I went to check it out. I didn’t expect to find you.”
“Yeah, I’m, I’m sorry for bothering you. I should just go now, I didn’t mean to upset you.” She muttered, barely audible. She tried walking past him, but he held out a hand, gesturing for her to stop. Panic began to rise up in her, along with the tears still trying to spill out. Her gaze was stuck to the floor and off to the side, keeping her saddened expression away.
“.. I heard you crying earlier, {Y/N}.” He said, seeing her tense up at his words. “I don’t wish to make you uncomfortable, but would you mind telling me what’s wrong?”
She played with the hem of her uniform’s shirt, biting down on her lip. “Would you even care about it if I told you? It’s not like it’s anything that matters that mu-” She suddenly stopped, choking up on her words when she felt a tear slip out.
“.. {Y/N}, of course it matters. You matter.” He turned to face her, every ounce of strict authority that was usually in his voice was replaced with an soft tenderness. “And I promise you that I’m not leaving until I make sure that you’re okay again.”
The girl froze up, hands shaking as she turned to look up at him, her eyes still filled with tears, which were now cascading down her cheeks, and falling down onto her shirt. But, there was gratefulness in her irises. Hesitantly, she reached out her arms, stopping to look at Kyouya for his approval.
He nodded, and she wrapped her arms around his torso. Crying into his chest and drenching his suit. He pat her head and her back, muttering words of comfort to her, trying to console her as best as he could.
He’d stay there for as long as she needed, because all that mattered to him right now was her.

“How are you holding up, Izumi?” Hideki stopped his shoveling a moment, watching as his friend released a long exhale. His breath was visible in the cold air, putting his exhaustion on full display.
“I’ll be all right… I think I just need a break.” Leaning heavily against his shovel, Izumi let out another sigh. “How about the rest of you?”
Across the garden, Akira made no comment, continuing to toss snow onto the pile behind him. Izumi took the lack of response to be his answer, indicating that he still had plenty of energy left in him.
Itsuki, on the other hand, was a mirror of Izumi, his usually pale cheeks dusted with pink. He was using his shovel for support, shivering slightly as a chilly breeze swept between the hedges. “I’m f-fine. I-It’s great you guys could help us shovel out the garden a bit and dust off the bushes.”
“It’s no trouble. We were around and wanted to help.” Hideki continued his work, flashing a smile at Akira. “And you promised to buy hot chocolate at the café afterwards, too.”

Does anyone else like really really fucking miss the game "notice me senpai"?? I'm so sad that skillshotlabs took it down ;-;
I can't believe it's been a year.
Wowza I haven't been here for a while but yes, one year ago today, Skillshot Labs announced that in May Notice Me Senpai would no longer be an active game. I still think about NMS all the time and how incredible it was and how much more it could've become. I think about the Senpais we had and the Senpais we didn't get to see. It was an adorable game and there's never really been anything quite like it. So anyway, I'd like to take the time to say thank you to the game devs for giving me the experience of NMS and to the community for keeping it alive.
