I’ve officially adopted the rule that every time I find a portal or a black hole in a pulse drive encounter I must make the jump, no matter what I’m doing. So far this system hasn’t disappointed.

A new year, a new world in no man's sky and boy did I make a find! Not only is this a paradise planet but it has flower creatures!
Naturally, with any unique wildlife, I made it a companion as soon as possible and I named it daisy. Also, it Turns out when they're domesticated, these guys act like dogs which is so cute.
The one in the picture below liked to go to the top of hills and just look around. very majestic.
I also went about making a base on the coast, trying to make the best of the idyllic landscape and ended up making something I find to be pretty.
This is the Palace Estate, a holiday home for two on the planet of Ision. It has many amenities, including automated fish traps, a medium refinery, an agricultural terminal, atmosphere harvester, oxygen harvester, nutrient processor, a tiny farm and a Nautilon pad in deeper waters.

THEY TRAPPED ME IN A BUBBLE
The salt flats of this planet fooled me from orbit. I expected to touch down in an endless ocean, not an endless slog through knee-deep brine.
It is beautiful here, though.
