i now have lily and lotus' concept art unlocked AND...I FINALLY BEAT POLY VS POLY IN PRACTICE MODE!!! i'm very proud of myself and i love being drip fed this lore!! i hope i'm not jumping the gun but. i think some of these dragons are gay...

things i've noticed while playing the No Need for Flowers demo:

who are you!!! you're so cute!!! oh god!!!

character select screen

1. when you press shift, everyone talks!! so cutes!

2. everyone reacts to your selection! and poly and esther seem pretty nervous when you try to select the secret character...

bestiary

every character has an additional option on their bestiary page for if you beat their stage on hard...i'm not sure what this could be but i'm hoping maybe its more art. or maybe. no i shant hope...concept art...

continues

i really like the continue system!! i looove that continuing takes me back to the point in time where i died in the level - i hate having to start from the top. i'm really interested in this text that comes up when you continue...

my current theory is that, somehow, the necromancer is communicating with us when we die and reviving us! mostly because of the literal action of being brought back to life + the text here being green (which i think might be their image color).

achievements

i'm not usually an achievement hunter, but i have been having fun going through these! of course these last two have caught my eye

i remember it being mentioned somewhere on the steam page that the practice stages could hold a surprise...so maybe working my way through those could be unlock something? or maybe i should focus on beating the game on hard??

The demo was so good! Keep up the good work and I'm def buying the game when it comes out!!

I can tell how much work went into it, and the designs are so awesome (esp. Snapdragon my fav :0 ) this is a huge yippee for me!!
