OH PLEASE NO!!!!!!!

I have looking at political posts by the Obama campaign about gun control. I went to see if there were any good arguments... I found Zero!:( the most popular comments where along the lines of “anyone who doesn’t agree with my ideology completely is an idiot racist or all of the above” REALLY? REALLY? REALLY????? I can’t get over this nonsense! It is the saddest thing I have seen! :( I’ve heard of Bigots before but nothing like this!:( I guess that is what I should come to expect of the democrat voting base. 

Not to mention all I get from the republican voting base is that the other side is a bunch of atheist, immoral crackpots! :( 

Come on America! learn how to argue sensibly! PLEASE! Rhetoric and Dogma is not a source of good political debate, and both side contribute to the abhorred practice. 

Regardless of what you believe you shouldn’t paint the other side as an idiot or derogatory in any way. That is what as known as being a bigot and intolerant! Support your side with facts! maybe you’ll learn something along the way, and achieve a more appropriate view for what you believe in! I am not clean of this either I must admit! But we can all work on it together.

Don’t get me wrong! Pathos can be used and should be used as a powerful method of persuasion in the right context. Politics is just not one of them, In my opinion

-For a better nation, learn to understand your opponents arguments and compromise. And if you can’t compromise, you can each learn to appreciate both sides and come to an appropriate solution! I know it is hard, but these are the basic guidelines to living in a democracy!
