I think antis might have it twisted around that if a character has POC fans, he must be significant to POC representation in some way because That's How Faves Work or something. They seem to think that characters are stanned based on how good they are for representation (thus their weird takes that people who don't stan characters that are good for representation must be racist or sexist or w/e) and can't wrap their heads around Kylo not just being a two-dimensional fascist bogeyman.
