i am gonna combust internally and not for the reasons you think.

okay, so i'm sitting here writing the beginning scene of a fanfic when i stop and think 'what type of gemstone would neil have if artem gifted him a necklace?'

so i take my search to google, asking what gemstones represent guidance and loyalty (bc neil chose to guide artem, mentor and all that) and i come across some that match my description. to my surprise, they're a couple of blue gems that fit the bill: sapphire, lapis lazuli, and turquoise.

and where have i seen blue gems in game?

artem fucking wing.

what makes this revelation worse? artem says neil gifted him a tie clip (that i'm willing to bet is the set he's wearing. )
