I signed up for Robinhood because I am not overly thrilled with my broker’s ancient, slow app.
They have an offer from a partner where you answer a few quiz questions and receive $1 in crypto.
I answered the questions, received a fraction of a coin, brewed coffee, came back, sold the crypto (it had dropped to $0.97) and used the proceeds to buy a fraction of a share in Apple.
I did it because I have no interest in cryptocurrency at all, but a buck is worth a few minutes in a quiz.
That the coin dropped 3% in 10 minutes between quiz and pouring coffee is both hilarious and on brand. Good job everyone involved.
