Whatsapp really should have a no-internet section... Like, when you don't want to talk to someone you just turn on the no-internet mode and you won't receive any messages from them. Others can still contact you but the person you don't want to text with only will see you're offline and that any message has just one hook instead of two. And when you turn off the no-internet mode you'll receive all the messages and can answer them then.
