I heard they’re reforming the Dawnguard! Vampire hunters or something, in the old fort near Riften! Might consider joining up myself.
ok but travelling with Boone is like travelling with an impatient, chronically punctual dad trying desperately to get his kids to Disney before the crowd shows up.
He is road daddy
DON’T WORRY I’M NOT MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE. THIS ONE IS DEFINITELY IN COLOUR.
Chapitre 91 - The World of Memories
aka KUROGANE AND TOMOYO AND THEIR DOUBLE BADASSERY
In saying that I feel like the cover is slightly more focused on Kurogane than Tomoyo. And by that I just mean that... like, if Tomoyo was going to imagine this same exact scenario I feel it would look very different, but as it is it definitely matches how Kurogane sees their relationship as far as I can tell. He’s here to defend her from literally any and every threat, no matter the cost to himself (which, interestingly, might match up with his attitude to murder. Maybe he was ok with becoming a monster himself because it meant that Tomoyo was safe, among other reasons). His cloak wraps around her and wards off every arrow, even as Kurogane himself is being quite literally being shot.
But he’s happy to do it. He’s happy to be her shield. It’s all he wants to do, even if he can’t kill anymore. Kurogane’s connection with Tomoyo cannot be be broken.
But that doesn’t mean it won’t change over time. It might never lessen, but I feel like this is very much a glimpse of the Kurogane of the past, and doesn’t fully encompass the Kurogane that he’s becoming. There is more to him now than just his connection with Tomoyo. It doesn’t lessen his bond with Tomoyo in any way, but it does make him more of a complete person, a less broken person, and this is exactly what Tomoyo wanted from the start.
i wish everyone who takes forever to say goodbye and leave a very GET OUT OF MY HOUSE
Dang, the guards weren't kidding when they said "No lollygagging"...
