Hi! What is your opinion an people blaming Scott that he didn't take a stand in the JC case, specially after Ashley came forward with her story? They are saying he should do it just because he has a large fandom and he wrote that article that is not enough apparently. I consider it a mistaken blame, as he is not even part of the same federation, but I wanted to read your opinion on it.

Not sure why you are signaling Scott since I’ve seen the same critic voiced for both Tessa and Scott so my answer applies to both. I understand wishing your faves will take a public stand, however it’s one thing to wish and another to demand or hold them accountable for not inserting themselves into this conversations. I’ve stated before that from all the behaviors we saw I truly wish that to keep silent would have been something more skaters chose to do and I for once am glad Tessa and Scott chose that course of action. I don’t doubt where they stand in this discussion since they never gave me a reason to doubt them, on the contrary, they spoke about the issues (in general terms) more than once. But I don’t hold them accountable for not getting in the middle of this, this is a tough situation with a lot going on behind the scenes, and I feel comfortable enough knowing they already shared their opinions in the past. I might have felt differently if this was a case more personally close to them, but as of now I have absolutely no issue with their silence and in their shoes, I would imagine I would have done the same.
