November 14th! Save the date you awesome, fabulous, fantastic people you! Who has two thumbs and is getting top surgery that day?! THIS GUY!!!
Oh my gods! I can't believe this is my life! I get to have top surgery! The bank approved my loan, and on Monday I'm calling to schedule my top surgery with Doctor Melissa Johnson. Holy moly, this is really happening. This is almost a year to starting T (October 10). No better way to celebrate my anniversary!
NO MORE BINDING
so today i decided i wasnt goin to bind anymore..it happened suddenly..this morning actually..i got off duty and had just picked up a friend before coming home to shower and change so we could go to breakfast. when i got out of the shower i said to myself, "im packing today..i got this great Peecock that i dont were often cause of my job and i am goint to pack today!" and then i looked in the mirror and thought, "should i bind as well?" and then almost as soon as i asked the question in my mind i answered it outloud, "NO! im never binding again!" binding gives me MORE dysphoria than just wearing a sports bra..im always adjusting it..its too tight..i cant eat much when i wear it..i always feel slightly out of breathe..in a way its like wearing a tampon..im always trying to remember how long ive had it on so i dont go over 8 hours..and i always feel like everyone knows im binding. so i decided im not going to bind anymore..i have a lot of top dyphoria but when i have on a sports bra that fits well and a loose shirt my breast almost disappear..and the there is no discomfort.in the beginning binding was a huge boost..i felt better..but it has slowly become a burden. im half way to my surgery and im sure i will get it before the year is out or in early 2013. no more binding for me..just packing.
I just wanna dress up as Toph now and never have to wear another costume.
