Sebastian waggled his eyebrows at me. “Wouldn’t you wanna be swept off your feet by some guy and be in love with them forever?”

I rolled my eyes. “Tried that. Didn’t work.”

He lifted an eyebrow. “The ex?”

“Mhm. The ex.”

He chuckled. “Can’t believe Pierre Bouvier was your husband.”

“Believe it,” I mumbled into my glass.

He cocked his head to one side. “Sounds like you had issues?”

I rolled my eyes, pushing my glass away. “That’s what you get, going out with a musician.”

Sebastian chuckled low, shaking his head a little and said, “Shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, ya know.” He waggled his eyebrows at me.

I couldn’t help but laugh. “True. Unless you’re a book.”

He smirked. “Touché. Still. Maybe I could change your mind.”
