I was reading a fic today beautiful fic by the way but the author kept repeating the age of the main character over and over again each new paragraph had their age or reminded you of their age. This isn’t the first time I see this and I always wonder...Why do people do that?
If it’s used as a replacement for a pronoun, that really bothers me. Epithets in general are a big nope from me—“the brown-haired man said” or the “blue-eyed man had this to say.” Just use the pronoun! It makes sense in context, I promise! I won’t immediately yeet out of a story like that, but if it’s excessive, it really takes me out of the story enough that I can’t read it. If you write and format it properly, there’s no need for the superfluous epithets.
Tavo gave me a long list of things I'm not allowed to do anymore.
• No more doing laundry
This includes taking laundry out of the dryer, carrying the bucket of clean/dirty clothes to and from the garage, and straining to get things out of the washer. So basically I can only fold and hang now.
• No more giving June a bath.
This one I'm thankful for. June still hates bath time and it's stressful. And it's been pretty painful on my belly to give her a bath for a while now.
• No more putting her to bed.
• No more grocery shopping by myself.
Gotta use clicklist or do it when he's home.
• No more picking up June.
So really no mom things lol
He of course says he's going to take over all these things. (we'll see about that one lol jk)

NEW POST: Sole Divas - Shoe Styling 101
Just like our bodies, our legs come in different shapes and sizes. Be they long, short, thick or thin, it doesn’t matter, what matters is finding the right pair of shoes to suit your legs. Because Miss A looks like a winner in those gorgeous pair of slingbacks doesn’t guarantee you will too. Just like we know our body shapes, we need to know the type/shape of legs we have to look our best in…
