Random selection rigged so that at least one full-sized candy bar or greater equivalent included! 😜

2 Octobre: on n'a rien fait
Originally, there was talk of going to a museum, but we slept in too late for that. Realizing this, we decided to have a catch-up day.
We bought tonnes of groceries from Provigo, made an even better incarnation of vegan samosa-inspired chili in the evening, and I have no idea what else we did in between! We probably also snacked on hummous and raspberries, but not at the same time, because that would be absurd. Probably.
After eating lots of the aforementioned chili, we decided to make ourselves feel like we did something today... So we walked through gorgeous Québec to La Barberie - a local microbrasserie with ultra-delicious beer (and four different dark beers to choose from) - where we proceeded to drink all of their beer.
Part-way through, Cassie demanded that we go on a mission to get Poutine, because (conversely to so many restaurants in Québec), the brasserie was "apportez votre aliments". Unfortunately, Québec is not very vegan-friendly (w/r/t poutine); fortunately, it's still possible to find super delicious fries at a random convenient store! The fries certainly improved the beer-drinking experience :-)
Maybe tomorrow will be more productive~
Wait a second, do you guys not have poutine in the States...?
i'm really excited to get out of the states and go home to Canada
all these casinos are concerning me
and there's no poutine.
