“Maybe I should answer then,” she whispered with an almost shy-looking smile. 

Kara didn’t waste any more time on words, strong arms wrapping around his shoulders and pulling herself up onto her tip toes to where she could kiss him better. 

As their lips met, a tiny happy sigh escaped the blonde and she knew once again that despite their many differences, he was the only one for her. No one could make her feel like this. Everything fell into place and the alien girl was finally HOME.

The tall man smirked at the blue-eyed exorcist, raising one eyebrow. “I do wish you were capable enough for that, young lady, as it would make sure you are actually of some use in battle.” The blood already coming from his nose and mouth was nothing. He had seen much worse. 

Wiping off some of the blood on his face, he added. “That could save your friends, perhaps.”
